Alright, thanks guys. I'll try a bigger coil, and a little less cotton in the channels.
Look at the pics I posted a couple pages backAlright, thanks guys. I'll try a bigger coil, and a little less cotton in the channels.
My initial thoughts too, that the problem one was a clone. But upon rereading the posting, the comment about a V4.1 with the larger deck then a newer one with the smaller deck makes me concerned about the knowledge that the eBay seller brings to the transaction. Never was the larger deck version called V4.1 (although a few places said V4+) so ultimately I'm thinking its a comparison between the large deck version and the new version. And just a person without too much experience building coils finding the smaller deck overly restrictive. You most definitely can make coils which fit and work well in the large deck version that would never work in the smaller deck versions no matter what you try. There is a difference in the fogger v4.1 (the old one), v2, v3 (big deck), and v4.4 (the newest which is now called 4.1) Confusing.
The 4.4 (aka 4.1) does have a smaller deck and chimney but allows for more juice. It is a tight spot to work esp with long coils.
Another possibility is you got a clone.
I'm one second day of Fogger V4.1(4.4) , having a good time with it. No dry hits, but I only see it "bubble"/draw out of one channel. Does this indicate an issue? Could it be performing more by this or no worries?
BTW, .8 ohm 28 gauge. Wick on top of channels
