Lol I'm always on the prowl for the latest and greatest, that's how I found Fv4 in the first place, if it's better I'm in for sure. That being said, it's gotta be as much better than the Fv4 is to a kayfun, imo that's the next minimum requirement.
Again with the threaded plastic tanks.. Blah!
I've got one, but I retired it after about 2 weeks. I love the way it vapes, but it just doesn't hold enough juice for an old day device. I put some juice in it that I like enough to want it in a tank, but not as an all day juice, and after about a week or so the juice started changing flavors. Screw that, clear plastic tanks should NEVER be used in ecigs. Every one I've had has caused my juices to change flavors, or worse, the tank fogged up and cracked! I'm not sure what kind of chemical reaction is going on to cause that, but I'm certainly not vaping it. And this particular juice I had in my Orchid has been in my old Kraken for months without any change in flavor.
Nobody likes my Big Wolverine, however, it could very well be a "Fogger Killer" if they got in a Sumo Wrestlers fight. LOL
Thanks for these links! I just drilled my silver fogger (which was already bigger than my black one as well kiwiand drilled easy. Then when I tried to drill my black one it wont work! It barely just opened the end a little but would not drill the hole out. Seems to be much harder metal. I tried three different drill bits from different mfg. and no luck. Have others seen this difference in metal between the silver and black? Its making me think the Orchid clone is just going to better since it doesnt need drilled and fills fine from the bottom if you just crack it open enough for a syringe to fit in. Dont hate tbev
hehe
kiwi glad to have you back state side!!![]()
Something I noticed on one of my Foggers after drilling it out It still had a tight draw compared to my other Foggers. A closer inspection I found the top of the chimney where the small threads are that connect to the top was not drilled completely through leaving a opening about 7/64th of an inch. My others are about 9/64th so drilling the top cap of the chimney fixed the tight draw for me. I don't have any black foggers only 3 stainless and they all drilled easily for me.
I'm guessing that after he drilled his silver ones, his drill bit became dull and that's why he could not drill the black one. IMO

Haha,it may i repeat may not be that drastic of a change, but definitely a bit better at the least. After building my 2nd one today,i was looking around to see what juice i have that i could use in it,that wont crack the plastic.I found a bottle of apple menthol, that i tried in the fogger last week and could not taste the apple, only the menthol.Well with the orchid, the apple is really coming through.I had even tried this juice in my patriot and the apple wont come through with it either, but something is going on with this because the apple is coming in fantastic.
As for the plastic tank,i am in the works with another member on here,to get a full sized glass setup for these. They have the ability to cut the glass,so i am going to pick up a few kayfun quartz kits and send them to them to be cut to the right size.It will be probably a month before it's all done, since the kits will be from fasttech, but if this works out,it will definitely be a viable option for those who want glass on their orchids. At first i wasn't to thrilled with the plastic tank idea, but i have found that i have enough juices that wont crack it,to where it's not really an issue anymore, but it will definitely be a nice step up to get the glass done and be able to use all my flavors in it.
I still love this thread, even though I don't own a fogger... Yet. Lots of great info on modifying things to work better, and it's got a true communal vibe, which is awesome.
I've for a VTR coming my way, I know some folks around here have modded that top ring, which I intend to do as well.
Then, in another paycheck or two, I'll be ordering a fogger without a doubt!
