I forgot to answer your question: The drill size I used for M3 x .5 tap was 2.5mm (diameter of threads minus thread pitch, which works for all thread sizes) And if you don't have metric drills then anything close will work, as long as it's not smaller than specified. A few thousands of an inch over size will work just fine, like .005" or so.

I have seen that pic, very cool indeed, Might give it a go. What's the dimensions of the hole? Is it just one hole straight thru or like 2 levels where the top part is wider then the bottom hole ( countersunk). Sorry I now can see the way the hole is from that one pic but still would like hole dimensions

I used Stainless Steel M2.5 - 0.45mm Screw, just because I had bunch of them I bought on Amazon.com
1. First, I drilled 2.05 mm holes through the top cap.
2. Then I drilled 3.5 mm holes 2.mm dip to hide the screw heads.
3. Then I taped M2.5 threads just deep enough to accommodate my screw length.
4. Then I shaved my screw heads to be 3.4 mm in diameter.
5. I installed little plastic washers that I cut of a juice bottle tip to hermetically seal the hole.

Juice bottle tips? LOL, cool idea. I cut up old Kanger Protank insulators, (the silicon type) to use as seals for some of my fill hole screws.

Eco will work, i wouldn't go all the way down the channels, but it sucks, if it's milage your looking for use rayon, its the best anyways. .

For mileage I'll make SS mesh work, somehow, but I figure something simple and easy just to play with it off the bat and then when that starts to crap, do a proper build. My R91 clone is still going just fine after months of not even touching the insides.

Then you are missing on all that fun of re-building and re-wicking every day to improve on your skills and to try other things

But, for all seriousness, I too like Stainless Steel Mash. Even though it is from the Pentium Era long time ago
But, I think every Device had it's purpose in mind of their designers.
Let's face it: Kayfun and Fogger V4 are not meant to be used with Mash. You could make it work with Mash, and I did, but it won't be the best working mash Atomizer by any means. I build my Genesis Tanks with Mash, Taifun GT, Squape Reloaded, even Flash E-Vapor. But Kayfuns, Foggers and many others built with Rsyon and, sometimes Ekowool. IMO

Yeah, I hear ya. You should give Rayon a try. Unlike cotton (or any other natural fiber) it doesn't taste like anything at all, and It does pretty good at changing flavors. Plus it's super easy to work with, and a lifetime supply cost about $10! You might not get quite the longevity of a perfect Mesh build, but once you get used to it you'll be surprised how long it does last. Guys are getting 100ml out of one wick! But the best part is the flavor is way better than anything to date, including SS mesh!

As someone who wicks with rayon, let me chime in also. I get about 3 weeks out of a wick on the small deck Fogger and close to 4 on the larger deck Fogger V4.3. Don't get close to that (2 weeks if I'm lucky) with my Kayfun builds. Each topper gets about a fill a day. Since the typical source for the rayon that folks are using costs about $12 for a 500 foot box everyone has plenty. Just ask on the thread for a sample and I'm sure someone will send you a couple of feet at least.

Yup go to the rayon thread and thank us later. Even with mesh I had to open it up and dry burn way more often than I'd have to rewick rayon, and it takes the same anoint of time...

My name is awsum140 and I'm a Fogger V4.1 junkie!

I've gotten addicted to this thing after struggling through about a month of poor performance. Now, I'm refilling it more than once a day. I've overcome the crappy coil screw problem, improved the air flow control ring and will be drilling out the horizontal air holes to 2.5mm tomorrow and take some more off the air control ring. I just ordered three more of them, one for my wife, one as a gift and a spare for me. I've succumbed to RTAs, I hope there is mercy for my soul.

I still love my Foggers, but the Eleaf Lemo has officially taken it's place on top of my eVic Supreme. They hold more juice, taste better, produce at least as much vapor, are way easier to wick, and the wicks/coils seem to be lasting longer for some reason. I know they're not for everyone, the 23mm diameter will be a deal breaker for most people. But if you have an eVic S or a box-mod and want a fantastic rebuildable, you've got to have one of these!

As far as I'm concerned, the Fogger has been killed!

It works great, but you have to remove the 510 base to get to it. Actually, I removed the AFC ring, but I vape at 20-40 watts, so I like a lot of air flow. When I recieved mine, the air flow was about the same as my Fogger with .093" air holes, so it wasn't too bad. I increased all of the horizontal air holes in the Lemo to .078", which got it up to where the vertical hole is the limiting factor now. The vertical hole is 3mm, and there's not much room to open it up anymore than that. I managed to increase it by .008-.010, plus I polished all the air holes to make them as free flowing as possible.

Just for fun I stacked a couple of 18350s with a .56 ohm dual coil build, and it just about knocked my head off! I wanted to see how well the tank could keep up, but it was just too much for me, LOL!
