For those of you with a Big Fogger:

I've just received two Positive Posts with Insulators Spare Parts from Frog: Big Fogger Positive Post Block + Insulator / Authentic Replacement Part / Genuine Big Fogger Spare Part

Ordered on 09/28/2014 received on 10/25/2014 via Singapore Post.

The quality, to me appears to be much better then were originally shipped with my Big Foggers. I drilled wire holes.

Supplied, M3.0 Post Screw appear to be made out of Stainless Steel, unlike the original ones.

Thanks for the heads up, I do have the Big Fogger, but I see that the Fogger V5 is out!

Would you guys recommend getting the Fogger V5 right now, it comes in copper? Or should I wait until the V5.1 or something as I read some reviews saying it is not much of an improvement over the Version 4.4 (4.1)

what is the best rba if I don't want to drip all the time I use the itaste vtr and am new to rba but I am wanting to start vaping big clouds, I was told get the kayfun then I heard the fogger4 dual coil then the big dripper v2. any suggesstions? I always use dual coils and don't mind taking the time to learn so if one is harder than the other I don't care because I want to start with the better not whats easier for a beginner I am not wanting to build under 0.7 coils with the vtr which I have done research and know the vtr can handle this and I make sure I have the proper batterys

Fogger v4 or v5 definitely kills any kf russian etc, I've heard the lemo is a bit better but I'm not sure, the orchid guys like them, they may have a slight edge on a fogger but they also have a crappy plastic threaded tank vs a glass tank, and WAY less juice capacity. If you drill the horizon air holes in a Fv4 it will kill an orchid, I think, but as you open up the air flow you sacrifice flavor. Glass tanks are always a huge plus. I'd look into the lemo and if not try a fogger. Get it from eBay. More people will chime in but I have 5 Fv4's, they are that good. But they have been out a while and I don't think the quality of the vapor got any better with the v5.

what about the Russian 91 is that just for dripping or can I use it like the fogger or kayfun? what is the best to use with the vtc? can these rba be used with the itaste svd since they also go up to 15watts? or is my best bet to buy a $40-$60 mechanical mod? I like the copper ones but if its not going to produce a lot more noticeable vapor I'd rather stay with my vtr or svd. any help I would be very thankful for.also I was told the best for how I want to start is the big dripper v2

I don't know about the Russian, AMDtrucking can give you advice about many of the RTAs, he collects them I think LOL.

I use a Fogger 4.1(4.4) on a VTR at 15 watts with a build of around 2 ohms and wicked with rayon. It performs really well, as well as one on an iPV2 at 1 ohm running 25 watts. The downside is that you will need to use the extension tube on the VTR because the Fogger, and most dual coil RTAs, have a diameter way to big to fit down into the ring to reach the bottom mount. I did some measuring and calculating and it is, technically, possible to widen out the ring enough, but it would be less than .5mm thick after grinding. That's way to thin to be useful, IMHO.

I think big budda might be among his favorite, he's definitely the man to ask, I didn't recommend that one BC it's really for a 22650 mod. The Russian / r91 is s Clone of the kayfun 3.1 and kf Lite. Neither s are suitable for dripping, anyone who says anything different, you can ignore anything from them going forward.

If you want a tank go with a fogger or s whatever amd says, if you want a dripper that's a while nother story. You would be well suited to buy a stingray Clone for 20 - 30 bucks, go with something with low voltage drop, that's what you want in a mechanical mod, that and the button, stingray comes with magnets that's why I recommend it, with low v drop, you can also get a hybrid adapter that is really nice to have. Same with a nemi Clone but you have to buy magnets.

Don't get me wrong, VTR is (was) a decent Mod, but it is limited to 15 Watts. If you looking to blow clouds, 15 Watts won't do it for you. I also have VTR, I even drilled the ring to be able to put 21 mm Aqua Tank, but it just doesn't do it for me at 15 Watts. To get a full experience with Fogger, IMHO, you need to go beyond 15 Watts. Kayfun, however, is going to be fine at that power. But it doesn't fit through the ring and looks ugly towering on top, when you use that adopter. My VTR is collecting dust.

You could build a Fogger with thinner gauge wire to accommodate VTR, SVD, Provari, etc., but it won't be the same cloud blowing experience for you. IMHO
If you want to stick to 15 Watts VW device, my advice will be: Kayfun, Russian, single coil Lemo, Rose V2, Squape Reloaded or Erlkonigin because, with a single coil you'll get much more vapor/flavor at 15 Watts then dual coil. Again: IMHO

I dunno, AMD. I'm running 32 gauge 8 loose wrap coils at15 watts on my VTR and it puts out like the 28 gauge, 1 ohm, at 25 watts on my iPV2. It becomes a question of coil surface and wicking ability to produce nice clouds of vapor.

Like I said: In My Humble Opinion

But 32 AWG is NOT my favorite wire gauge to build coils. But, as you know, I like to use Flat Ribbon to achieve more area coverage. And I completely understand other people that don't. It is just a matter of personal preferences. Like: "Taste is subjective" kind of thing.

That was my whole point. Not that any one way is better than the next, but that a way can be developed to suit what you're doing/using. Staying off of tobacco is the ultimate goal for all of the Foggers, Orchids, Provaris, Vamos and so on. Just find a way that works for you. Plus I have the advantage of not building while I'm behind the wheel, LOL. How you manage to do that amazes me!

I'm also the kind of person that when I find something that works for me I tend to stick with it and resist the constant barrage of new, improved, end-all, do-all gadgets that are coming out on a daily basis. I love the VTR, the form factor with the tank mounted low is great, but the power limit is now starting to get in my way. If I ever get the time, and major ambition, I want to build my own version of the VTR, able to take dual batteries, a low mount tank the size of a Fogger (say 25mm) and run at least 50 watts although the DNA40 is very tempting. I've got a design sketched on paper and plan on using brass since it can be worked easily and soldered.

You are NOT going to believe this, but I had the same exact thought. I couldn't afford Vapor Flask DNA-40, so I ordered couple of enclosures fom FastTech

Bunch of switches and other parts. I'm going to clone Vapor Flask DNA-40 myself.

Hey, if you guys are going to build something, I think this is the best device you can get without having to machine any of your own parts.

This is the bottom feeder in making right now, I've ordered all the parts, week have the 3d printed parts tomorrow, they come out of San Francisco. Already have a couple dna40 boards.

Printed DNA30 Bottom Feeder

They did a coop for all the parts BC, as you'll find out you'll have to order some parts by the 100 and you buy 5 dollars worth it parts and pay 15 for shipping, I had to go thru all the vendors myself and it cost a bit more, but if you would have gotten in on the coop it would have been around 90bucks for the 3d printed pieces, 20 bucks for the parts and 50 bucks for the board.

Oh that's quite interesting, I'm tempted! But how will you replace batteries in there? The bottom looks closed in one picture.
About a low mounted connector I had the same idea and bought a cool flask here, but the project stalled a bit due to the unjielding properties of stainless steel.
