I've been meaning to buy some Titanium for my duals, but I was hoping Evolve (or somebody) would come out with calibration for it. I'm really not looking forward to having 3 different types of wire, there's no way I'll be able to keep up with all those different coil materials and all my different tanks! I have a hard enough time remembering where I left my coffee cup in the morning!

Haha BNEAT I was wondering the same thing! Personally I just got "lazy" and just used my Magma / Derringer drippers. Easier to rewick and easier to set up with temperature protection.

I just got the Cthulhu RTA which is nice but still causing me some problems. Tiny deck! Nickel coils at 0.06 and ohms too low. Some nasty taste from either the titanium coils I used or some leftover dirt in the atty. I never had this problem before but

But since I got my drill press and new metal drills I can finally drill out and set up my Big Fogger.

I'm about to delve into the world of temperature control with an Invader and either a Fogger V6 or an ErlK for a tank. I'm hoping the V6 has enough space for coils big enough to work out.

I'm with you, Dejay, when I recoil my Foggers I've been drilling out the air holes to 2mm and leave the air control ring completely off. When I do my Bog Fogger it'll get the same treatment. I was looking at the V6 and if the air control ring is left off there are a total of six holes available on the base. The base unscrews from the coil portion and can be drilled out for 3mm internal air holes, I hope.

Dear Awsum140, I bought some good Metric Drill bits from this guy 1 15mm 10 20mm Close Out Metric 170 AG Jobber Length Domestic Drill Bits | eBay They appear to be of very good quality. I thought your Drill Press would like to know that. ;)

Well, the drill press worked out well yet again. My Fogger V6 now has 2.5mm holes through the deck and 2, 2.5 and 3mm holes through the body with a 3mm hole in the air control ring. I just drilled out my Big Fogger to 2.5mm through the deck and body and am enjoying right now.

I've got a twisted 30 gauge build in my Taifun on my DNA 40, and it works great. I can't see any reason a similar build wouldn't work in the Fogger.

I just finished modifying all of my 4.1(4.4)s today. The deck air holes are all 3mm and the side air holes are 2.5mm. I didn't debur the deck holes after drilling because the little shoulder helps reduce any possible seeping. For those that may be interested the deck hole is about 15.9mm deep and the side hole is about 7.9mm deep. That can help avoid getting into parts that shouldn't have holes in them, LOL.

    What AMD has wrought.

I bit on the drill press which lead to the cross slide vice, which lead to a pile of bits, which lead to a pile of end mill bits which lead to multiple tap sets, which lead to a pile of screws of various sizes. Now, I'm in the last stages of completing a low tank, DNA40 powered, custom mod and it's built from a rough sketch and lots of trial and error.

The enclosure is a FleaBay purchase and all the other mechanical parts, board sled/battery holder, top cap, bottom cap with hinged battery door, back half of the atomizer cutout and all the little bits an pieces were done with that drill press and stuff. OK, a little Dremel work as well.

Next up is a DNA200 in a CNC milled Hammond 1590G style enclosure.

    Way to go, man!
Mean while, my home-shop has Atlas 12" lathe, that lead to a Buck 6" 6-jaw adjustable chuck, steady reast, Quick Change Tool post and 2-axis DRO. I also bought Bridgeport #2 mill with Kurt vise and indexable dividing head and installed 3-axis DRO on that too.
