A massive collection of new/used lighters and various ashtrays. They are no longer needed in this house!

J/K, mods, I'm not selling anything. I just opened a drawer this morning, and noticed about 7 or 8 lighters in there. Got in my truck, and there was at least 4 lighters in there. 2 in my drawer at work. God knows how many scattered all over my house.

Time to throw them all away. Or donate them to a Boy Scout group learning to start campfires. Or a pyromaniac. Or someone. I'm done.

I kept a couple for around the house and camping, but the rest I donated to other campers and my wife's sister since she barbecues all the time...

Those lighters are all to be replaced by straightened paper clips, jewelers tools and q-tips and tissues!

I just said something about this in another thread recently - Being able to create fire easily and quickly is a good thing. I have cigar torches in my camping and hiking gear - I have matches stashed in one of my snow shoe tubes - I have bics in my tool boxes - I have bics in all of my vehicles... That's never going to change. Mother nature has attempted to murder me several times... What has changed is that now I also have empty cartos and spare batteries in most of the same places I keep lighters and matches.

LMAO - Yes, I think they could definitely get some good use out of them.....

And stupid me OF COURSE I need to save some for the Zombie Apocalypse!!!!! I feel like such a failure for forgetting that.....

I have some antique Zippos if anyone is interested. A very nice matching pair of Vietnam Memorial zippos in a beautiful display box also. (don't know that I'm getting rid of these two)

I now seem to have a reverse problem.
Now after almost a year-(29.5 hours to go)--smoke free
I go out to burn the trash-or burn a brush pile- light the grill---or even light a candle -------------------
CAN'T FIND A FRIGGIN LIGHTER ANYWHERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

LOL Yeah Them Suckers came in handy during the MASSIVE power outage in this area earlier this year.

I have long since quit smoking but I still keep the lighters around for emergencies like power outages and candles and the occasional relight of a pilot light here and there
