I'm thinking a bad lot of 510 attys got here. I lost five inside a week, three of those over the course of 3 days on new batteries so, it seems to be happening to a lot of us right now. All I can suggest is hope the next lots we get are better and, see if your supplier can replace any of them for you.

I, too, have received, in the past 6 weeks, CRAP atties! I've been vaping for 2 yrs., so I think by now I kinda know bad atties from good. Part of the problem is excessive juice that they put in them before shipping.I think it fries them before they can be used!I almost burned one of them up doing a dry-burn and it was STILL loaded with their shipping juice. I'm sending thes back for a refund and from now on I'll stay with cartos...

By the way, these are eGo mega atties...

Over the course of the past 3 months, I have had lr and normal attys die after one use to 6 days max, I have to agree that there has been a bad batch of attys, Since I just bought some attys, if they die out, they are cheap enough to replace as I got them super cheap for some reason!

I'm experiencing the same atty issues.

I bought my first two LR attys ( Cisco 1.5 ) from Avid Vaper on Christmas day. Those two attys lasted until April. I purchased 4 more in April. Those four lasted only a month. I've been buying more and more and today I got four more and checked them. They all worked. I debridged and dewicked one, put in some liquid, got a great hit! Went for my second hit and the arty was dead!!!

At 9 bucks an atty, that was an expensive hit!

I've tried a couple other atty suppliers and received utter crap. Two attys I got heated up but produced no vapor, TH or flavor at all.

I've been unemployed for a year and just got back to work so now that money is coming in again, I plan on trying out some other solutions, but I'm at my wits end with this while thing. Add to that the fact, the wife has recently started vaping and now I have to find a solution for both of us. Luckily, she likes the e juices I didn't lol so at least it won't go to waste.

If anyone has found a good supplier of solid 510 LRs please speak up.

I got my SR 510 attys from Cignot 5 months ago, still going. Got 2 2.2 ohms with Riva kit a month ago, one died in a week, but LF replaced, both still going. I dry burn them everyday. Here's a good deal on attys, but I don't use LRs, so didn't bookmark any.

Genuine Joye 510 electronic cigarette 10-pack of black atomizers

Edit: they also carry LRs Genuine Joye 510 1.5 Ohm LR electronic cigarette 10-pack of black atomizers.

Disclosure: I have not tried these yet.
Dry burning leads to premature death, especially on a daily basis. I do not clean mine except the occasional blowthrough

I've heard that from others. If you're a manufacturer, you'd probably know. You must also be using very clean juice. For me, blow through and even running under hot water just doesn't get the juice remnants off all the time and the atty eventually clogs or gets burned taste. I may be doing damage to the attys, but if I can get 6 months + out of a $4-$8 atty, I'm happy. :)

This vaping habit is becoming a full time job dealing with atomizers as far as I'm concerned!!! Frustrated to the max, started 3 months ago and have gone through at least 10 Ego XL type B atomizers. Tried every cleaning method under the sun, never have a problem with air flow, they just die. Bought a 5 pack under 2 1/2 weeks ago and 1 4 weeks ago and tried rotating them, now I have 2 left. At $11 a pop this ain't cutting it whatsoever!!!!! Use mostly PG Dekang juices a little 70/30 PG High Caliber and a little VG based Wensten..,.

Have you thought about using different attys? The Type B is a tank, right? There are some 2-5 ml cartos now, not that I use them. Also, have you tried getting help in the General Forum?

Suggest you give Sapphires's a try. 7 bucks for a 2-pack. Tank type system - cartos - a hybrid. I used type A tanks before - didn't care for replacement cost either. No long term findings on Sapphires's yet but tentatively have found as satisfying as type A tanks and it is appearing to be much less costly. Under Sapphire name I think only gotvapes has them. But may be other equivalents out there.

I too have been experiencing this problem that's started in the last two months. Atomizers are only lasting me 1-2 days. They just seem to stop producing vapor and begin getting hot faster. Thinking it was maybe the brand I've purchased different batches of both 1.5 LR and regular 510 attys from 4 different places and still no matter how much I clean/blow/dry burn they still quit working properly after a day or so. Maybe it's the juice which seems thicker than most from backwoods brew that's causing this to happen but I'd think the cleaning would eliminate that as a the issue.

No just found out it's actually a Ego "mega" but it's marketed as an "XL". Just found a less expensive supplier for these but they sent EgoT type B's by mistake - Ordered 10 will return 5 and keep 5 of the Ego T's to try out the tank system. But expectations aren't high. Killed another atty today - down to 1 with the weekend ahead - Uh OH! Went into this vaping with the hope of cutting my nicotine expenses in half but have found I'm spending the same or more considering the aggravation, and time spent! Starting to research repairable attys but they all seem to have drawbacks, such as little flavor etc.

My boyfriend and I have used the Ego for about 9 months. About 3 months ago my 510 atty would start to not work correctly after about a week or so. It would go from producting tons of vapor, a moderate throat hit, and a great flavor - to almost no vapor production and a burnt taste after just a few puffs. It was not the battery because it did that with a brand new battery and a brand new atty. A few weeks ago, every atty did the same thing, but after only one or two days of use! I am a heavy user, almost constantly vaping. SO i thought it could be caused by that. But i have always been and it never did this the first 6 months. Ive tried attys and batteries from all different companies- still the same issue. I thought maybe because it started to taste and feel out of liquid after just a few puffs, i would add 2 more drops of liquid into my atty (i use a drip tip). Then after doing that for a day, it would stop working right so i thought maybe i was flooding it. But i am NOT going to use it if its out of liquid. And if i thought it was flooded, i would blow it out...but barely any liquid would come out.
My boyfriends never did this to him up until about 2 weeks ago. Now his are doing the EXACT same thing! what is up with this?

So my question is- WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH MY 510 ATTYS?!?!

Is there any different type of attomizer that works better than the 510? Is there any e cig that works better than the ego? Could it be because i drip instead of use a cartridge?

I have spent so much money on new attys and its getting rediculous.

I can understand how you feel, especially when atty's cost anywhere between $4.95 - $10.95 for each one...depending where you shop of course.
I am not sure, but you stated that it was not your batteries...

I actually thought the same thing, I found out that the batteries...I received came from a "bad batch/distribution."
My husband and I were having the same problems...the atty's worked fine at first, but then after a few puffs, all I receiving a nasty dry burn. I added a few more drops...I knew there was enough juice, I had no idea what was going on...
I wasn't aware, I was purchasing atty's, atty's and more atty's...like you said, it was ridiculous...I finally had enough and contacted my supplier...
I explained my situtation and sure enough, I was not the only person, a number of customers were calling regarding their batteries as well.
Needless to say, my supplier...sent me new batteries and I've had no problems since...
You may want to at least check with your supplier, if not...I'd highly recommend new batteries, or like another member said...go with cartomizers.

Maybe, you did a bad batch of atty's...I spoke to a member here just the other day and she told me that her atty's weren't lasting all but a day or two, she was lucky if she got three days out of one of them. She threw 28 atty's this past weekend...:grr:

I wish you and your boyfriend all the best :)

Good Luck, Hola

Count me as another frustrated atty user. Last week, a generous ECF member sent me 2 cartomizers. I have been using the same cartomizer (and the same juice) on my Buzz Pro since 9/12 with no drop off in taste or performance. I had never used cartomizers before this and I must say I'm very happy. They are MUCH cheaper than attys, so I think I may order several more of these. I don't know why I didn't try them earlier.

i'm a 901 smoker. i'm getting the same results with my attys. as everyone else. doesn't look like we'll be getting the quality of attys. that we used to get. I'm thinking that they have changed the element itself to a thinner size. although they don't last as long, they do seem to produce more vapor. thinner wire hotter element.
