Would you mine telling me about how the drag is with the cartomizer? Mine is really, really stiff. I have a suspicion that the holes on the side of the post are plugged or were not set right. At this moment, It is probably easier to suck the chrome off of a trailer hitch than it is to get a satisfying hit off of a cartomizer.

I reminds me as if you were to use a 901 and use the hole on the side as a choke. When you have the hole on the side of the 901 plugged, it has a really stiff draw.

Incidentally, with my 901 attached to the adapter, if I were to plug the hole, there is no draw at all. I would assume that there should be some draw since there is are airflow holes. Would you mind testing yours and reporting the results?

I have the protege and it works good with the 901. Originally I had a problem like yours with not being able to draw but just put a cartomizer on untill it was just snug, not real tight and it is drawing pretty good. If I tighten it all the way I get no draw and it pushed the center post down so I had to take the adapter off and push the post back up and it is working fine again.

I get good draw on the cartomizers although I'm using my 510 pt right now it is definitely not as light and "airy" as when on a reg 808 battery. I also get more vapor using the 510/901, 808 adapter than I would normally. I use a 510 pt with adapter to 901 and it is a better draw than using my 901 pt. strange but I love the adapter. I don't know if there are different manufacturers, mine was bought from goodprophets.com

No draw or a stiff draw definitely sounds like the holes aren't aligned right. You should be able the screw the carto all the way on.

I have the opposite problem - mine is like sucking air through a straw. Tried tapping the post down a bit, but if I tap it down enough to affect the draw, the adapter doesn't connect with the switch. Maybe I should try turning the post instead.

I have a 510 batt with adapter connected to a cartomizer. When I break off a toothpick into one of the holes of the adapter, the draw is too hard. Without the toothpick, there is practically no draw.

There is very little vapor too. These cartomizers aren't working very well for me.

What is this tapping? I'm about to give up on the cartomizers....:(

I had one of the adapter thinggys and did the toothpick thing. Mine was OK like that but definately not *Baby Bears Porridge*

Does your adapter have two holes?
Look at them in relation to the center thinggy. You should be able to turn the center post to almost block one off. You can try that ¿

Carts are great if you can get it tuned just right or get an adapter made specifically for them.

Can you take a pic of what you have and post it?
Also, are you putting it on a Prodigy or Protege 510 adapter or just a normal 510 battery?
