I bought my battery mod specifically to replace the stock 510 batts. Now that I've got my Mako Midi I'll never use the stock batteries again. First and foremost because of the battery life, secondly because real 3.7 volts vapes and tastes so much better for me.

The next step for me is to try out 5v, but those devices are usually too large to take to work so it'll be a "at home relaxing" device for me.

Well my problem is that between my pv's, box mod, pt's etc I have like 80 mods. I have used each one when i got it but yes, one does get pushed aside when I get a new one.

I try to rotate them and of course I do have my favorites that always stay out but so many mods and I can only smoke them one at a time.

What a bummer!

I don't quite understand why we all think we need so many PV. I know going from a regular ecig to a mod is imperative but once you get a mod that works great why do we think we need others. I have 3 different mods but none work better than the other. I still have all of my 510 laying around and will occsional use them (this is still an excellent PV) Even though I have 3 mod I am looking at what to buy next. This is defniitely showing our addictive behavior.

I will have to totally agree with that addictive and obsessive behavior. It's like gambling or binge buying of cloths or anything.

Do we tell ourselves that we are looking for the perfect smoke and we have not found it yet? It it a matter of thinking one is in a race to have the most pv's? All I know is that I need to stop, I think I am spending more on pv's then I ever did on analogs!

Hmm the currently CJB in the car, at my desk at work, or desk/tv at home. Outside or mobile, carry a little juicebox mod that fits in my pocket. I like the ScrewDriver and have a few. Those get rotated, usually daily, as my backup and alternate flavor carrier. Instead of a little box to carry everything, I just carry an extra PV and 5ml bottle of juice. Everything is 510, except for my CJB.

I have regular 510's, ego's, KR808-D1's, 901's, Screwdrivers and a GGTS (a dse084 along with 6 batteries are just a pain, so i don't use those).

I use almost all of them depending on where and how i am. At home i use the GGTS almost always now. As i have to wear a suit almost everyday, when i'm off i use the KR just because it's easier to have 2 cartos inside the PCC. When im driving i use the 901 for it's flat tip and size. When im driving a lot i use the ego...and so on...

Oh...when i wanna impress a smoker: i let him have a gentle drag on the GGTS @ 6 or 7 volts! JUMPY!

Well, when you become satisfied with what you have, you can stop if you want.
I can attest to this because, though I appear to be in the minority, I have stopped.

I started with an NJoy, and then moved to a 510 atomizer.
I have since tried BE112 atomizers, and KR808D-1 cartomizers.

I have determined that I am sticking with the 510 atomizer from now on.

Then I got my Chuck.
I tried it at 6V and did not like high voltage vaping.
But I FREAKING LOVE my Chuck at 3.7v and that is all I will ever need.

So I have stopped buying now.
I use the Chuck at 3.7v all the time, and use my stock 510 batteries when going out.

I am satisfied, and I am done.

I now have 5 mods (one of which I need to send in for repairs because I let someone borrow it and it came back not working as well :( ). I keep different flavors in each one so I can buffet vape (I'd credit the person who came up with that term if I could remember who it was). I love being able to grab whichever flavor strikes my fancy without having to change out atty's or carts. Plus, it means if I'm in the middle of something I don't have to refill right away if one runs out, I can just grab a different one. I still have spent a little less than I would have smoking in the past 10 months, even factoring all of the juice and atty's I've stocked up on. I'll start feeling guilty if I start spending more than I did on smoking :).

I have 3 mods and waiting on a fourth. 1st is a manual 510 with a PT and PCC. The PT is pushed aside and the 510 PCC is my work backup. 2nd is a manual KR808 with PCC and PT. The PCC and 510 adaptor is a backup in my car. The 5v PT with 510 adaptor is used at home at the computer. 3rd is a JS V3 (510 adaptor)walk around vape (using old gerber knife holster (does not activate button like v2 holster). Wating for my Chuck home walk around vape and the JS will become my Bike backup. I am hoping the chuck is my last purchase I will not be purchasing an airplane or motor boat any time soon.

I had the same situation as you. I have a 510 as my first PV but was going camping last weekend. I got a Janty Stick and love it. The batteries are a little smaller than a AA and weigh nothing. They last about half a day on heavy use. They are replacable and cheap too so they are ideal. The Stick with a 510 atty is MUCH better and you will love it. I also got a Silver Bullet but just for the morning vape and by the fire at night. It is big, warm and full flavored at 6 volts and the battery is good for a couple of days at 3.7 so the size and weight is OK there too since you don't need but a couple for a week. If I am ultralight backpacking I will probably just take the Stick and a few batteries. If I don't have far to go or can carry a bit more I think the SB will go to as a backup and for sharing around the fire though. Hope this helps since you didn't say what type of camping you do. I am a backpacker for about 4-5 nights at a time and go ultralight sometimes. Overall, I carry much less space with the PV than carrying a carton of analogs and also have a lot less trash to carry out.

I have some that I put away and some that I keep using. My 510 Chuck probably gets the most use. My Vapor King from V4L, actually have 2 of those out, one for Irish Cream and one for other flavors. A 510 that I use to try new flavors and a 510 for Atomic Cinnicide. A V4L PT for my coffee flavors. A 401 for tobacco flavors. I have a couple of other mods that I have put up.

I have 10 Mods, plus my 401 and 4 PTs. They all get used daily. I have another Mod on the way - can never have too many. lol

Yeppers, one on the way.

I feel cluttered if I have too many around. If it isn't getting regular use I sell it. I even threw away my original $150 starter kit before I found the classified section of the forum just because I knew I'd never touch it again. I'll have back ups of the same supplies I use regularly, but I like everything inter-compatible so I don't keep a variety around. I have OCD on this matter - I even sold a perfect Chuck the week I received it just because I liked something lighter. I have a PT to save $ on batteries at the computer, my long life Mod, and some KR shorty batteries for that little analog feel, and that's it even though I've had quite a few others pass through my collection on their way to some other owner who would love them properly.

vaping was my means to eliminate tobacco from my life. one of the fortunate ones have been successful from day one.

since then, pv's has become another hobby. i haven't touched a 'stock' e-cig for probaby 2 months. mods? i love to get them, make them, take them apart, rebuild them, experiment with them. at one point i had 50 laying around, i'm down to about 15 now (some sold, some given away), but i still accumulate more. its just fun for me is all. some of the ones i've made are absolutely atrocious looking, but they work.

for use, i have 3 in rotation - one of which may get bumped off when the un-named mod gets here.
