Forced password reset is annoying

It's not like we do things with sensitive info here. I tried tapatalk cause it is promoted here. I open it and nothing works. Try the forum in browser and see the password reset. I guess i need to change it in tapatalk too. Now i have to try to remember a new password. This is stupid. It's a forum, not a bank.

I'm not comfortable with Tapatank either - but I will say, I only had one password reset request in over a year here.
I don't think they "time out" like they annoyingly do with many other registered sites I deal with...

Oh, and my OTHER pet peeve - GOSH I wish there were some kind of standardization on password requirements.
I hate when it takes 4 tries because YOUR silly website developer decided that I need a capital and a lower case and a number between 4 and 7, and a special character but not #$ or @, and something Cyrillic, and my dog's cousin's best friend's birthday as a reminder.

fortunately you can just put your same old password as the new password.
