I live in Florida, within driving distance of the supplier, I'm pretty positive.

I was careful to select the USA store as I'd seen someone mention something about that.
Yet, I got a charge on my cc for the foreign transaction thing.

I was going to try ordering from them one more time since I thought it was cool they were "local", and were opening a shop, but now I'm not so sure.

I don't like getting extra charges that didn't show on my invoice.

Did I miss something perhaps?

Hello wisp. Welcome to ECF. You might want to take a look at this thread, which features a very ticked off individual who was charged a Foreign Transaction Fee:

Also, if you do a forum search for "Foreign Transaction" you will find a variety of folks who have experienced this as well as a variety of opinions on whether it is being properly handled or not. Good Luck.

Thanks Sherrick; that is excellent help. I have never used forums before, so that was a pretty cool trick to learn how to search for specific threads like that. To most, it probably seems obvious.

I did manually scan through some pages until my eyeballs started falling out, and decided to post instead.

I will read through your link later when I'm not so tired, and try to figure out what the general consensus is about this TW practice. So far I'm not liking it, and expect people to be more up front about additional costs. For TW to be so concerned about using proper warnings and labeling to discern between recreational pv and medicinal or whatnot, one would think this wouldn't be so hard.

I know it's just a few dollars, but added up all together, can be a good chunk of change.

I've ordered from them a few times, and did notice a small fee on my bank account. Last time I ordered, when I went to confirm my order was correct and to continue on to pay, it does state that there may be a charge from your bank that they have no control over... I don't remember the exact wording, sorry :( But I didn't notice it until I actually looked for it.
