I listed 3 items for sale today in the Classifieds. Each time, once I hit submit, the forum logged me out and I had to log back in to continue.
I've been bounced off the forum too, several times the past 2 days, but I didn't recognize the same function creating this.....though a couple were when editing a post, and perhaps after a good night's sleep? Not sure of the consistency.
(And, yes, I checked the "keep logged in" box.)

I figure it might be them doing something to the software in the background; maybe they flush a cache of everyone logged in, and so everyone gets bounced and has to re-login. Weird things can happen if you tinker with "live" software.

I'm seeing a blank Quote box when I read a post that quotes another member's post. I tried disabling Adblocker but it didn't help. Is this a glich or something
in my settings? Don't see others complaining about this.

Try clearing your cache, clearing cookies (maybe just ecf cookies), reboot. The usual suspects. You've already tried turning off adblock, or I would mention that. Did you reload the page after disabling adblock? If you have the time, do one thing at a time so that you discover the solution.

This new system is still very unfriendly to mobile devices I don't understand why ? When mobile I have to do multiple clicks to get to subscribed threads. Isn't this setup supposed to be more friendly ? Another thing is when there a new post it doesn't show up on mobile yet does on desktop is this something that may be rectified at some point ?

I posted a problem here a few days back. I thought I had it figured out but it happened again. I experimented a bit and I can reproduce it.
I hit Reply to a post. Then I typed in some text. Went to Options, then Preview. Then exited out back to the forum.
At that point I got stuck with something. I couldn't get rid of the message in my reply box. I can log out and back in. Close ECF and reopen. Nothing changes. If I go back to the same thread, in this case Cloud Chasers in General Vaping, I could see that text in my reply box on every page. Don't have to use the Quote function to make this happen.
The only way I could clear it was to actually reply to the message.
Update......
I typed in the message above. Selected More Options, then Preview. Then selected the forum name at the top of the page without sending the message. Came back into this thread and my message was there in my reply box. Closed ECF and went back in and it's still there whenever I come to this thread..
If I don't go through Options and Preview the message disappears when I leave the thread, which it seems like it ought to.
Not the end of the world but it seems a bit funky.

the automatic save works really well in xf and some people have found this to be a blessing
there is no delete or cancel per se but if you delete the message manually and choose 'drafts' - 5th icon from the right - you can delete the draft

That's actually a feature, not an issue.
Just delete the text and then delete the draft using the disc icon if you don't want to save it.
Gotcha. Thanks Tibs. I looked through those icons but I either missed Draft or didn't realize what its purpose was. I just went round in circles for quite a long time trying to figure that one out. I spent 30 years writing software and ten years later I've turned into one of the bonehead users who used to call me up asking stoopid questions.

Have you seen it show up anywhere?
I've noticed some posts with edit date/times showing, but none of my own posts. And I haven't paid close enough attention to which forum/thread/zone I've been in when seeing the edit times.
