Today, being my first day on the forum, I have learned so much. First, I was using a liquid of 24mg which was way too much for this 12 cigarette a day smoker (now 6 per day). No wonder I didn't like vaping. I coughed more than smoking a cigarette. Second, I found a great vape shop in my area that has a tasting bar which help me find the flavors I like. Third, I learned how often I should change my atomizer for my joyetech eVic to optimize taste. Lastly, I am not alone. Few shared their bronchial/respiratory issues and the improvements after quitting smoking. I'm not alone. Thank you!

Can't wait to learn more.:toast:

Finding the right juice, nic level, VG/PG ratio, is the first hurdle in vaping. Went through a lot of juice before I found my Sweet spot. Then finding the right atomizer and device becomes easier. But nic level needs can and will change when one starts trying better atomizers and vape at higher watts, then there is taste and smell recovery and sometimes flavors you loved last month taste like crap the next.

I started out at 24 mg nic, but as I advanced to rba's I had to drop down to 18 mg, then my builds got better and my watts increased and had to drop it down to 12 mg. Now that I am doing sub ohm builds and very high watts I am looking at dropping my nic levels once again. Fortunately I DIY juice so can easily change my nic levels.

As one learns and grows in the world of vape, they have to be open to changing the equation of what one liked to vape. Different coil, different wick, change of ohms and watts, all effect ones vape preferences and establish new ones.

Congrats on your Vape and your progress so far.
