Short of notch coils which I don't use anyway, wrapping a coil is probably the fastest part of the build. The wicking takes practice. Granted, I don't make my own Clapton wire, but I don't use it anyway as it's not my vape style. Nothing wrong with buying prewrapped coils, especially complicated Claptons, but it's not worth it for me. YMMV.
