Freakshow - is it just me or the flavor production isn't that good?

I visited a B&M shop today and they advised me to get the Freakshow rda for a good flavor production (original design by Wotofo, China).
Before building it, it does looks like a good RDA for flavor - bottom airflow intake, reduced chamber, option for tight airflow and long cols.
I built dual coils out of 26 gauge, 12 wraps, came out ~0.6 ohm and I'm firing it anywhere between 25 to 35w.
For some reason the flavor production is really unimpressive for me (I'm vaping plume veil and tugboat v2 most of the day).

I'm really interested what is the reason, is it just my build or is it really the RDA?
If it's the RDA, the only reason I can think of, is the huge space below the deck (for airflow), maybe it makes the total space too large and canceling the "reduced chamber" design?

For me it has been amazing. My build is 7 Wraps (IIRC) 24g dual at .2 on my IPV3 or Slug clone.
Went through various flavors and they all taste great. Better than most of my other attys. (Mainly my Stillare and Magma, haven't played much with my Geyser to compare)

Might want to try higher watts or a mech and see, then try a new build.
