Something I didn't add when explaining what I'm doing with it because it is just habit. But since it is a bottom coil, I just rather naturally take primer puffs every now and again. Didn't say anything because I don't even think about it any more, but FOR THE RECORD, every so often probably every fifth or sixth hit in a chain vape session I take a primer puff (ie draw without firing the battery).

Also, one thing I am really loving about this, despite the fact I can't use it on my dongle without an adaptor, is that it screws ont the outer threads instead of the inner. This feels more secure and less prone to cross threading. Just my two cents.

Also, with the cap on is has withstood me beating it like a drum stick, which is a VERY bad habit of mine, but since I can't seem to help myself it is good to find products that will tolerate that.

My C8 that I had left setting overnight... didn't leak any further.

The C8 is certain a rugged built clearomizer... but what I like is it's appearance. On top of an eGo sized PV, it has a very refined look... something you wouldn't think twice about using in public, in front of client or even in a board room. On the otherhand... the Vision Clearomizer ( which works great btw ), the Fluximizer and even the new Phoenix as seen in the vid that badkola did... quite frankly look like just no matter how well they may ( or may not ) work. Just that little bit of extra window dressing they used makes a world of difference.

There are only a few things where I place form up with function ... my PV is one of those.

Just wanted to say that I am finding using the Liqua bottles of juice much easier to manage using a syringe with than previously with other juices. The Liqua bottles are VERY easy to use with a needle. Just draw the empty syringe/needle back the desired amount to draw in air, stick the needle into the flexible nozzle, inject air into the bottle, then turn upside down to draw liquid into the needle. It's neat and clean and leaves no air bubbles in the syringe. And if you find that you have too much juice in the syringe after filling it is easy to put back into the bottle. And since the flexible tip stays on the juice bottle there is much less likelihood of spills.

I ordered three of the stainless steel, i haven't had any of the big leaking issues that others have posted. I modded two of them, one just as LordDavon showed. Both of the modded ones have leaked but only after modding and only leaked enough to make your fingers wet, around the base and top that you pull off of the tube.

I'm now using my third one (stock/not modded), I've gotten dry hits from all of them, no leaking as of yet on this one. I've tried doing as others have stated about primer hits and so on but still getting more dry hits then not. When these things work, they work really well. One thing i have tried and its been working well all day (now on my second fill for the day), is i will take a couple drags (two) and then give a short blow back through the mouth peace. You can see the extra vapor that would be trapped in the plug and mouth peace area blow out of the holes at the base. From what I've seen, it helps push just enough air to help it wick (one or two air bubbles can be seen in the tank from either side of the wicks). It has also cut back on condensation build up in and around the mouth peace, to the point i don't have to clean the mouth peace or the plug under it but maybe once a day or so.

I'm not sure this is a good thing to do or not, I'm just trying new and different things to see how they work, I'm not ready to give up on these things just yet. Liking it more so then the Stardust (just my opinion). Maybe blowing back into it will or can cause a problem sooner or later, but its worth a shot and has worked out so far. Just trying to add something new to the table and maybe help one or two people out in the process. I will need new wicks for my other two that i had modded tho lol.

One last note, as for my filling process. Ive used a syringe, holding it upside down as stated from others here, but i do pull a pinch back into the syringe as to not over fill (and get leaking issues) and to help not over pressure the tank. I do leave just a bit of air in the tank (backwoodsbrew 70pg/30vg).

Sorry for typing a novel

Sure. That'll force me to visit my mother more often.

Everyones mother is down here, but mine. It's like me, my daughter, and a million old people. It's okay. They upped the fast lane to 35, and riding in it with your blinker on is no longer required.

Here's the center battery pin shows the holes this is why you don't see liquid come out the holes in the skirt unless its connected to a battery than it would have to be flooded to come out those holes.
This is where the liquid was leaking out of mine. There is a silicone seal that seals around that pin and the liquid was seeping past that seal it was not coming out the holes this might be why it dose'nt leak on some till you screw it to a battery. Pushing the connector up and it also lets the pin spin and I believe that is why my wire broke at this connection.

could be, that makes sense, hard to tell at the bottom where its coming from, my guess would be the holes on mine and others that are leaking randomly, otherwise it would do it all the time.

The wick sits right in top of this connector but the connector is above the seal and juice puddles around the pin and when I was filling it it would spread around the metal base first and if i kept filling than it would come out the holes. When you fill it upsidedown its easy to see but that's just the one I had after filling sucked some back in the syrenge it quit leaking but when i screwed it back to the battery it wouldn't fire so that's why I pulled it apart all the way and found the coil twisted and the wire was broken loose at that pin connector.
