Since it seems to possibly be a factor, I figured I would go ahead and mention, mine, which is NOT leaking, that I fill upside down, I do tend to almost always use the top cover. I drag it around with me everywhere, put it in my lab coat jacket, all that great good stuff, and so far no dump outs.

Mine never has dumped, but even after trimming the wick, still getting to many dry hits. I'm wondering if the center pin being lose on some makes them dump. In turn maybe it being pushed to far in gives us dry hits? I'm probably way off but its a thought.

only half way through first fill. no leaks so far. filled sideways with a long tip bottle cuz my syringe had other juice in it.
occasional dry hit but i dont think its broke in yet. blow in it like a sapphire make a bubble come up then good to go again - which tells me that i have the top seal in good and no air can get in there.
took outside where its warm and even left it in the car for an hour still no gurgles or leaks.
i cant figure out the draw though. its not restricted or anything but feels not smooth - like its going to gurgle but without any fluid. almost scratchy like. it did this before i filled it and is still doing it now. i wiggled a paper clip in the skirt air holes to make sure they were not blocked and it helped a tiny bit but didn't really change.
and i have to be careful with the cover because if i screw it on tight it will make the collar turn in the top of the carto so easy does it lol

I notice depending on my juice im using the tip and the green straw builds up with condesation especialy when air temp is cold given a less then desireable vape.

A simple quick blow into mouth pc and good to go, if you remove the flat tip and look into the center hole you can see if it clear or not. I find when im out and about in the sun or driving during the day above 65 degrees i have no prob with condesation. At home when cold i rap my swetshirt around the end to keep it warm and works real good.

Ha ve had one dump in over 20 fills with one and no probs with the other at 19 fills.

Using KGO, 70/30 mix i get condesation build up, 50/50 mix i have no problems. Maybe what i say here will help someone.

thanks hdzrtvap but i have not had any fluid (juice or condensation) buildup in any of the parts yet and nothing blows out yet the draw remains scratchy.
still no leaks and the dry hits have mostly gone away i think. still on frist fill though GV Americano
hits pretty nice on my various ego(?) units pretty sure they are all 3.2
havent tried on anything else yet want to make sure its broken in good before i give it any more power

Norman, Ok
they have heard you all and had the engineer work on the issue, i cant upload pics so lorddavon will drop the pics of the updated c8

Awesome...

Can't wait to see how the new version works after it gets released... This time, I'll stand back and watch since I can't afford to gamble again on ( widely ) untested technology... still, I'm keeping my fingers crossed

I'll be first in line to test again, tho I won't bother to post my findings. Seams I'm not in the "click or family" here so my words get ignored. Hell I'll just go back to stalking the forums, its worked so far. Either way thanks Bad for helping us out with new and better things and LordDavon a big thanks to you as well. Love your youtube videos, you make me laugh and give honest opinions.

So from the looks of the new piece, is it that you think the C8's have a sealing issue? You know I had wondered if turning the mouthpice to line it up would dislodge the other seal?

Here are some things I would have like seen them improve on:
1. Their soldering connection on the bottom is not the best, especially if folks have to move the center pin to make connection. Short center pin, make it a tad longer so folks don't have to pull it out.
2. Be careful with the glue!!!
3. make the wick coil, where you have easier access to clean, with it sealed in metal hard to do that.
4.ROUND tip, that is the one think I hate trying to get used to with the CE2 type carto's, I hate the way they feel as do alot of others.
5. Make a more durable product at a better price point, almost $30 for the 2 with caps that I purchased, did not last even 24 hours of vaping on an ego. I paid less for a 3.5 DCT and it is stll going, even the cartos in them lasted me alot longer than either of my C8's

I personally am sitting this out, and see if they are really going to work. Their people should be the ones putting the product through the paces and making sure they work, not us, the paying public, this new fix came pretty fast....
