Actually, yes... Eddie was a god, then a drunk/addict, and now a mediocre guitar player because of what the lifestyle did to his body... It's a shame really... Sammy's shows are 10 times more energetic and entertaining than VH's are. Worse thing Eddie ever did was what he did to Sammy. He brought VH back to life and took the band to a place it never would've achieved with any singer, and where are they now? Sorry, just my opinion...let the hating begin!!!

I loved VH, liked Sammy, hated Van Hagar. VH started going downhill with 1984, all the synthesizer stuff really cut into their edge. Their first album and Women and Children First are, IMO, 2 of the best hard rock albums ever.

Just FYI to everyone, I figured out how to add quit date counters to the banners. It will most likely require contacting a mod to put up because of ecf's restrictions but if you'd like one added to your banner it is possible.
