Free Greensmoke USB cigarette

I know cig-alikes are not going to be a permanent set up for most, but it might be just the thing to get a smoker interested in e cigs. I wouldn't personally pay too much for any of Greensmoke's products; they have KR808D-2 threading, not all types of their cartomizers fit the adapters I bought for them, I haven't seen their cartos available in B&Ms, and they're more expensive than most. However, it's not a bad product as far as automatic cig-alikes go, and they are offering a free sample (USB e cig, and three cartomizers) for $1 or $2.95, depending on which link you get to their site from. It does say 30 day free trial, but they say it simply means if it fails in 30 days, they will send you another one, and that the offer doesn't obligate you to buy anything else, and they will never charge your CC for another dime. I know we are all wary about the "free" trial e cig scams, where you get 14 days or so from the day you ordered to return a crappy $15 kit, or they will charge you $100, and and send you cartridges at $70/mo. Greensmoke is actually a reputable company, expensive, but reputable.
Be careful that you don't get the wrong promotion; they do have a trial going on as well, which DOES obligate you in the future; you get three batteries, a USB, 25 cartos, and a bunch of chargers and accessories, and after a month, you pay $129. I wouldn't recommend that, but I got the free sample which should be here tomorrow. It seems they only have menthol 18mg and clove 18mg flavors left for the sample. I could let you know more about it when I actually get it tomorrow. My mom got a free kit from Greensmoke back in May, and other than a ton of emails promoting their products, she hasn't had any problems. Free Trial Offer

Greensmoke are pretty good as a cig-a-like. Definitely a reputable company. I have friends who have used GS for more than a year, it's expensive if hassle free vaping so long as you can recharge regularly.

But it is still a good deal!!

I got adapters from V2 for mine, along with some blank cartos I was hoping to refill easier.

GS is OK, but $3 for a carto is high. It just doesn't work long term, for me.

I've since moved on (Halo Triton).

They banned "flavored" cigarettes here in CA a long time ago, but that's the 1st I've heard about not wanting to ship flavored ecigs here, or anywhere else for that matter!!!

And they are supposed to be getting some form of ID from us, too, but so far only one vendor has ever asked me...

Hmm, shipping only a dollar to my zip, not bad. Not a USB cigarette (that makes me think passthrough). The offer includes 2 cartomizers, a battery, and a USB charger. If you are concerned about them having your credit card info, use a prepaid card with like 1 dollar left on it. Heh! I might get me one for an emergency. Who's got a prepaid card with at least a dollar on it? PM me.

Update: for my $1, I got what looks like a mega automatic battery (I think they have a shorter version, but they don't list their batteries by mAh), two menthol flavor cartomizers (1.8%), a full five pack (!) of "Mountain Clove" cartomizers (1.8%) and a cordless USB charger. I was expecting a USB passthrough (the kind where you have to be connected to a USB port to use it), but I suppose this is more portable. I was also only expecting a total of three cartomizers, and I received seven. The mountain clove tastes ok; it's been awhile since I smoked a real clove cigarette. I wouldn't buy more, but I will use the one I opened. All the cartos are individually foil sealed, even the two that look like they are just under the plastic with the starter set (battery, charger, two cartos; the five pack was thrown in separately).
Overall, for a $1, not a bad kit to have for an emergency, or to give to a smoker. I wouldn't pay for it, but it doesn't make it a bad product. I have just moved on to bigger pastures.
Spacekitty mentioned getting one for completely free, and I also have a friend who got a kit from GS completely free too, but I couldn't find that offer. I contacted GS customer service, and they assured me there is no further obligation, and no further charges will be made to my CC; they completely understood why I was wary, and they reassured me. The 30 day period simply means they will replace the free battery, for free, if it fails in 30 days. He said there is no guarantee on the cartomizers, but I could hardly complain.
BONUS: for the $1 shipping, they sent it 2 day priority!
And it looks like the cartos can be refilled. I pulled the cap off with a paperclip, and there is a silicone (?) washer in there, which you can remove, then fill with your own e liquid.

Oddly enough, the KR808D-2 carto to 510 battery adapters I have been able to try fit some of the cartomizers from GS (Red Label, and maybe Tobacco Gold, I can't remember exactly) but not the Absolute line. Both types of cartos fit the same GS battery, but they will not both work on the adapter. The KR808D-2 battery to 510 cartomizer adapter didn't fit on the GS battery I had at the time. I ended up fitting the 901 adapter to it, which seemed to go on wobbly, but once it was on all the way, it was ok and the carto fired. I will have to check the adapters on the clove and menthol flavors. It's been awhile since I've messed around with these adapters. I would say the adapters may not be worth it.

just like to say I got my kit today. It's one battery a usb charger 2 menthol carts and a 5 pack clove (yum clove)
and now I see how greensmoke is able to give away a kit unlike most...green smoke you screw the battery into the cart instead of the cart into the battery....and it's a hair bigger (thicker round) than most cig-a-likes.

[edit]for former clove smokers, carefully add anise, cinnamon and coffee to the clove carts and you'll be a happy vaper

actually my wife still uses greensmoke at work and their menthol is pretty darn good. we both started out with them but I jumped ship shortly after finding better toys- slowly I am weaning the wife with spinners and mini clearos. greensmoke has always been honest and I have no complaints, even about the price. they got us off cigs and for that I am grateful....

i have to admit I like their battery so far over the blu and njoy....just seems to out perform and last longer
and the draw on the vape is tighter (?) not so airy....if I were to use a cig-a-like this would probably be the best choice I've found so far. But I like my spinner and there's no turning back now lol...but awesome emergency backup
