No you're on the "how the hell do I do this?" list! lol. There's no such thing as a wooden bead small enough to make a decent lanyard, and I think my mind has just concocted a way to make a nice string lanyard, just have to put it into action.

i was just throwing out the wooden bead thing. could also use the magnetic black ones (see them on necklaces all the time. you know like the hippy hemp rope ones.)could always make a 24karat gold one. lol!

I can say it's one of three places "JoAnns" "Michaels" "walmart" "garage sale" "flea market" hehe.. ok, so it's more than three. My idea was for a carry case type of thing.
It would be for two full Egos with Super T drip tips, plus a 10ml bottle of e-juice.
As far as design, I was thinking the theme would be around the reason I quit smoking.
I quit for my family. Between my fiancée and I we have 5 kids, and we just recently found out we're expecting twins. I love my family, and they are the most important thing in my life.
So as far as the visual design aspect, something family oriented or even having to do with the twins (especially since the carry case will hold my other twins...two Egos).
I'd prefer to leave the conceptual design up to the artist, as I would want it to be a unique piece created by your talent and artistic vision.
Does this sound doable?

Congrats !!!! I wanted twins my 1st time ...to get all over w/, but nope, was just a huge baby!! 9lbs 12 oz. oi...and he's 6'4 and size 13 shoe now!!! and still growing may i add!!! ugh...good for u on quitting for the family!
Wow !! what a talented person !!! I could never get into beading...just too small for me. These are beautiful....When you find what size beads post it up and I'll send you some. You can be sure there will be some emerald green ones in there too,,,hint, hint !!!

She just recently lost her mom. Before she past, my friend promised to quit so I want to strike while the iron is hot.
This gal is into cute---but good taste cute. I've got a Pink e-cig (got used from a member here {TY Cliff}) and I'm in the process of painting the shell for a NicoStick pink and trying to find a decal of a redbird (explained below).
As the clincher, I need a cute lanyard to make it irresistible.
Her mom was into redbirds big time and my friend has them all in her house now and is collecting more.

jj2, the story makes me cry... I lost my grandmother to Diabetes. She wasn't a smoker, it's just an awful illness and I can't imagine what the addition of smoking would do to your body.

I also have some people who are being soooo super supportive of my crafts and are willing to send me supplies. These folks are definitely high on my priority list due to their kindness and ONGOING generosity toward me.
I would love to make her a beaded pink lanyard. i'm not sure how I would put the saying on there.. but anything is possible. I am thinking I could use wire. They make thing silver wire that would fit some beads. I could bead the wire and mold it into writing. That's the best idea I can come up with right now. I could also just bead her the lanyard, put it in a gift box and put a tag on the gift box that says "For your mom".
It's just that I am plum out of supplies to make these right now. I do not have any pink beads, I have a few gold, silver, red, blue, green ones.. not enough to make a full lanyard and I still need a beading needle that's small enough to work with these.
Unfortunately I am also, apparently, the only one around who makes the beaded lanyards in any color you like.. the other websites have them in black only.
If you want one for me.. there will have to be a wait. If you want to get it to her ASAP I am sure a couple of the other people here would not mind waiting a little bit longer.. once I have my supplies I can make them pretty quickly.
And everybody - Please remember that I'm a mother, a wife, I'm in school, currently designing 3 websites, and I don't get paid for my crafts. So while I do love making them for you and getting the rave reviews... they are sort of low priority in the grand scheme of life.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother because I'm just REALLY learning beyond the general about this dreadful disease. My friend is type 2 and really is lucky since she only has to take pills. On the other hand, my 5 year old granddaughter had a virus that resulted in her being diagnosed right before Xmas last year with Type 1.
My friend upsets me, my granddaughter breaks my heart.
It's not an immediate as in this has to happen tomorrow or it isn't going to work. I deal with a handicapped hubby so I know some things in life can't be put on hold.
And since you are a busy busy little beaver, just do the quickest and the easiest.

yeah , my own mom was also diabetic but not as bad as sallana's grandma, who was a saint of a woman and the only inlaw i miss alot! remember, its never too late to quit smoking , i'm proof of that for sure. and the rewards from quitting are almost immediate.

Oh bug you are soooo awesome. The needles the needles are what are important!! If I have to I can use regular thread. The beads I have might give someone the impression that they are too small. So I think you did right! ♥♥♥
When Leannebug got the needles I needed. And some beads. I have a few seed beads that I can do multicolored lanyards with. Just don't have enough of one color anymore to make a solid colored lanyard. I don't think that's a huge deal though. I really only do beads and e-cig pouches. So any interesting fabric you come across or cool embellishments, pretty beads.. that sorta thing.

Hmmm. There are a couple different kinds of seed beads. There are ones that are flat on the sides but I think those are called bugle seed beads.. I use glass seed beads...
