Nope, not a real band. I was slightly disappointed. I think the singer guy is kinda cute in a dorky way. He's lip syncing. I think he's a canadian comedian or something like that. The songs are just way too infectious. Hate to say I know most of them by heart.

And somehow I've managed not to sign up for freecreditreport.com... Their marketing works b/c we're talking about them. But I won't ever sign up for a service like that.

Been a while since I been to his site, thanks for posting the link! At least I got the Canadian part right.

Not sure what I do on this forum for hours on end... certainly never realized there was an upstairs and a downstairs. Don't want to be know as one of the serious types so maybe it's good I'm posting in this thread about liking a dorky lip syncing dude.

Might help me identify more as a member of the women's room if I at least chose an avatar with a woman in it. Can't help it, 1984 has always been one of my fav 'themes' for computer stuff and when I found a pic of John Hurt smoking I knew it was going to be my avatar.

oooh strawberry daiquiri e-liq... will have to work on concocting that (might need a few more flavors but I got the strawberry from Loranns and it's not bad)

ooooh margarita, oh this could be fun, might have to get a tequila mini bottle and use a drop or two in them as a kicker.

I think I'm gonna go to applebees and ruby tuesdays and peruse their cocktails menus for ideas (I don't know if they put that part of the menu online lol, seems like a good excuse to take the girls out to dinner though).

my girls are a bit young for drinking. I was talking about my dd's lol. I don't drink when I am out, period, even if I can, I don't. I prefer a controlled environment.

I can't drink, I have some type of an allergic reaction to alcohol. I don't feel good if I drink. And most of my friends are on meds and can't drink and my dad was an alcoholic who quit over 39 yrs ago. So I hang out with a bunch of non-drinking folks. Helps keep the restaurant bills down at least.

I LIKE the songs.

I'm such a dork. When the first couple came out I even did some research to see if they were a real band.

I like them too... have three or four of the songs as ringtones on my phone... people probably get them stuck in their head and hate me the rest of the day when they hear my phone. I also have the Geico "It always feels like... somebodys WATCHIN me..." song too...

Oh good, I am not the only one who gets music from the commercials! I feel in love with the song "The son's gonna rise in a while" from some car commercial (I REALLY don't pay attention to what they are selling!)
The song is about a guy who is driving his girl to the hospital to have his son!
