I freeze my nicotine to keep it fresh but I want to know if I can freeze PG and VG as well. The nicotine doesn't freeze, will the PG and VG? What if I cut the VG with 15% water, will it freeze then? Thanks for any help and assistance.
Water freezes. My PG/VG base blends freeze a bit too. Not sure how it effects it on the molecular level, but I've been using frozen PG and VG for several months with no problems to date. I give the 4oz glass bottle I freeze them in a gradual warm bath to make the ingredients easier to work with when it's time to take them out.
Do you guys refrigerate your flavors? I don't see why it wouldn't be beneficial.
I'm probably going to get a mini fridge/freezer to store my DIY stuff... still not sure, though... they typically don't have a lot of freezer space in them.
I don't refrigerate my flavors I just keep them in a cool dark place. I've always wondered if refrigerating flavor would have an adverse effect on them
Yeah I wish I knew.. as of now this summer is super humid and hot.. I have mine in a dark place but my apartment gets very hot so I can't really get a super cool place... I'd love to stick em in the fridge if I can! I know you're supposed to put certain flavors in the fridge (some creams, etc) but I do wonder about the others.
If there wasn't a cool dark area in my house, I'd throw them in the fridge but as long as it doesn't get super hot in your house I don't see them evaporating rapidly or the heat degrading the flavor. I might be wrong. Let us know if it affects the flavor if you try the fridge.

Thanks I will let you know... I went absolutely crazy with flavors when I made my first purchases (seriously.. I have SO MANY flavors!) - I know I won't use them all up anytime soon so I'd love to keep them for as long as possible... I'm wondering which is better... being very warm or being very cold! My money is on cold, but what do I know?
I might have a mini fridge soon, so I will test it out!
