Pretty close to an accurate description of the logic as to why it can't be up all the time... the gist of it is, if I left it up all the time we would run the risk of depleting the vanilla extract because Frenilla is so extract intensive... and when the extract runs out, bad things happen. LMAO

Welcome to the fam!!

Yeah....we don't like to talk about the great extract depletion crises....

I have to admit that when I started this whole adventure, I bought from My Freedom Smokes. They have some good flavors that I really like. I am a menthol cigarette smoker and like their Slims the best. I also jumped on the Ahlusion bandwagon and bought 3 different flavors from them. Winter Wild Wood (supposed to be like a menthol), Orange Nocturne (supposed to be like a chocolate orange), and Mocha (just what it implies). I tried these out of the mail....not good. I have let them steep a week, still not good! I guess I must be really picky! I am still smoking cigarettes but they are starting to not taste so good any more. I want to get something sticky sweet to keep me off of them. I have noticed over the years most people that try to quit turn to food, in particular candy! As Freud would say, we are still in our oral fixation stage! ;)

Well enough about "other" vendors. I really want to try the Frenilla when it is released! I did set up an account with Nicoticket so hopefully he will announce it through a newsletter or something. I may also try the Custard's Last Stand. However, I have a very simple set up for now. I have an eGo C passthrough battery with an Aspire ET BDC Clearomizer so don't know if that is my problem. I really don't want to spend $$$ for the custom set ups I have seen on this site!

Well, in the long run, if you get the right equipment and the right juice, it will end up paying itself off. I think it's super cool that I got into the vape game so late and already let everyone else do the testing for me. :)

I have seen countless people find Nicoticket after vaping other juices for years and get their socks knocked off. I've been lucky enough to sample at least 25 different vendors through my own purchases and a lot of friends. I find most of them about 50% vapable and maybe 5% something I would buy again. So we are lucky on that front, I still ended up wasting quite a bit of money on other juices I gave away.

As far as equipment, I have seen a whole heck of a lot of people buy a Reo and end up not using or getting rid of dozens of other mods. I keep my Provari and a few drippers so I can change up flavors easily, but if someone were to offer me a brand new Provari right now for $80, I would pass. Rather get another Reo They seem pretty expensive, but I was spending about that much a month on cigarettes. A Reo is one of the most durable mods, and I expect to keep all 4 of them for 3-4 years, at least.

My point is that many of the money lost is trying out new stuff that doesn't end up sticking, or slowly upgrading. In a bit, you might be tempted to get a Vamo or something and a dripper, something mid-level, but there is a good chance you will still want to get to the next level. Most people once they get a Reo, they stop looking at all other devices. They stop looking for the latest and greatest, because they are satisfied with what they have and they know there is nothing better. That is a really good feeling. If you are happy with what you got right now, definitely definitely stick with it. But if you are looking to go up, I would skip all the small steps and go straight to the end point.

What he said.
But, if you are unable to make the leap, I would suggest an mvp or similar variable voltage/wattage device. Besides longer battery life, this will give you the ability to tune your topper to the juice you are using. Add some protanks or similar topper re-coiled and wicked with cotton and you'll be amazed at the difference. When, or if, you decide to upgrade you can use it as a backup.

Yes, getting the right equipment and juice will push you right over into full on quit mode if you want to. That's one of the things that makes me so mad about the anti-vaping group. They maintain that juice flavors of candies and pastries and fruit are NOTHING any smoker would want... SERIOUSLY???? For me getting as far away from smokes did it. Now I can vape my Grandmother's Cinnamon Danish all day long and not feel like I've been sucking on my shoe all day.

So FoxdenVixen, buy away at Nicoticket. Find the juice then the vaping gear will happen naturally if you want it. Today put in an order for Custard's Last Stand (it uses a lot of Frenila in it) and maybe a couple others to give them a whirl. There are folks who buy NT juices and when they fill their tank they add a few drops of a strong menthol. Work the juice as you like. You may not like all the juices for your personal tastes but one or two will blow your mind. There is nothing Clark has ever sold that I've tried and gone "Oh gross!!!" like I have for many other suppliers. Give it a go so when Frenila comes back you'll know how much you should order... ;)

Where do I look into these things that you mentioned? I am not an expert with the "lingo" yet. I am not an expert with the equipment yet. I don't even know what is inside my Aspire ET BDC Clearomizer. Is there a wick? What type of wick? Sorry that I am such a newbie!

Don't apologize! We were ALL where you are now once! Look on youtube for your equipment and watch the videos that may show up. There is a huge collection of folks willing to help you figure things out. :thumb:

Yes, no apology needed. I started with some 808 passthroughs and t3's. Like Megan said, youtube, the new members forum, and the folks here are all here to help.

And, WELCOME - stick around and you'll find out why we're all here . . . :D

I use the Aspire ET-S BDC clearos, flavor and vapor is great and coils last a very long time. So far the only upgrade I've done is to get the MVP 2 for the VV/VW.
Don't worry about new set ups until your comfortable and think your ready. What your using right now is great. As you go along in your vape journey you may find you don't want menthol any longer. That's what has happened to me and several of my friends too.

Welcome to the NT family, you won't be disappointed in the juice.

Ok I see what the MVP is. I really find it weird to be using a box! LOL! My Freedom Smokes carries it. The kit is $59.95. Not sure if my clearomizers will work on it. I have spent a lot of money in the last month with this. Yes I know. Think about how much I spend for a carton of cigarettes. Once I find that sweet spot, the spending will go down. My husband is happy that I am attempting to quit smoking. He is not happy with the money that I have spent so far on liquids and the simple equipment that I have found. I have read a lot of reviews on different liquid vendors and all of them are using non start up equipment. I wish the vendors would post something on what type of equipment is best to use with their product.
