Friend of mine has a kayfun lite and the screws don't fit right in the block where to buy fatter screws

The quality of the clone is excellent except for 1 problem, which we are pretty sure we caused by over tightening the screw down...now they just barely catch the threads.

Any suggestions to get larger thicker screws that would fit better into the steel block on the kayfun?

To be clear, I'm talking about the 2 screws you catch the coil wires under again the block or deck..
