Kayfun Lite Russian 91 Clone Black PVD SS Adj Airflow w Newest Topcap Design | eBay

So I got this kayfun because I drilled my tobeco clone air hole bigger and wasn't sure I did the right thing. I had seen their other kayfun style atomizers and let me be the first to say, the description is impressive. Modded this, modded that, sounds like they would test their gear. Rather than blindly buying another clone I couldn't touch and needing something to compare, I went for it.
So the good: well, its black.
The new topcap does appear to be better designed, it seals way tighter. The chimney is redesigned too. Its shorter and fatter.
Overall thread quality seems rather good, especially on key points like the fill screw. The mentioned deeper channels didn't seem to make a difference however, which leads me to the bad:
THE bad, lulz:
First of all, the bottom 510 connector is way shorter than the tobeco. The center pin in fact does not touch down on my vamo and I get an open circuit. Backing off the screw like normal doesn't work as the coil block gets quite loose. So much for that, well at least it fits on the Ego V3. Next, this thing was put together by either the hulk or some angry robot. It was a ..... to unscrew the threads and its likely that the larger silicone washers have gotten into the threading. Remnants of them can be seen within each of the cylinders.
If you've gotten this far then you'll be unpleasantly surprised by the cuts which now dot your fingers. Yes all of the metal pieces are sharper than some knives I've bought. So now you're up and vaping hopefully and what's this? The airflow is very restrictive, much more than the tobeco stock. Time to adjust the slotted screw and see what that is all about. Unfortunately it doesn't work. The new worm screw both doesn't cut off air flow, nor does it stop the whistle which was way more pronounced than with the tobeco.
So the top cap is still good, right? Well it has one fatal flaw. Your normal drip tips won't fit. The hole is too small. The provided tip is decent except it wobbles.
Verdict: 5/10
Lots of promise here, description is great. Execution is fail. As with all things ebay its buyer beware. I've seen this come up with my kayfun searches but never a review. Save your extra couple of bucks. If they sold the top caps/chimneys separate and made them compatible with STANDARD drip tips, they'd have something.
