I can't believe a reaction with my pain meds never occurred to me. When we smoked, I smoked about double what my wife did. When we switched to vaping, she landed on 18-24mg. And if I use anything stronger than 12mg. I feel like death. I've been curious why...
long term use of pain medication cause many unwanted side effects. the more they are used the more they are likely to affect your metabolism. don't forget your body is going through somewhat of a shock as there is no tobacco being ingested. unfortunately you are also going through tobacco withdrawal. no matter how rosy a picture some paint on here, i can tell you the first month sucks. we knew that as smokers anyway. i can tell you it does get better. you need to power through, suck it up, find the right vape, and stay committed. health benefits speak for themselves, once you are completely detoxed from tobacco, you will find your overall pain levels improved. and as always make sure you have a sip of water to follow your vaping immediately. it really helps.

You are forgetting the first rule of vaping... everybody is different.

There are LOTS of people that switched easily, with no real troubles.
And there are many that switched easily, but had some side effects or withdrawal symptoms.

And there are many that did not switch so easily.
And there are many that could not switch without finding a way to get the missing tobacco alkaloids.

Vaping is a spectrum of needs and solutions.
