New mamber/ Pro Vapor

Hello all

Going through the noobie process on this forum.

I started on the disposable cartridges mainly Frii and Premium brands. Then I stumbled across a manual battery which changed my my way of vaping.
I bought an e-echo system with some dual cartomizers and was pretty happy considering what I was vaping before. I then bought some other dual carts from e-cig supply and they would not work with the echo-e. I was very miffed. I spoke to someone at another company and bought 2 1000mah ego compatible(510) batteries and they work with everything.
Then I start reading about mods and I bought the Apex Alpha ultramax dual voltage kit with RES. I am pretty happy with this mod but the RES is a pain sometimes and I end up covered with liquid. I am currently waiting on a shipment of clearotimzers(top feeders) so I can bypass the RES chamber and possible have a more pleasant vaping experience.
I am currently looking at the GGTS with UFS system and was wondering how it compared to the Apex Alpha. I have sent an email to member BigBuyer the owner of clouds of vapor but no response yet as I do have a few questions before I purchase. I saw a message here how he gets a ton of emails and to PM him but I cant do that until I get over 5 posts

So here is my first. Nice to meet everyone.
Any feedback on Apex vs. GGTS and the RES bypass would be appreciated.

Also any liquids you guys use. I love strawberry and currently buy two types and do a custom blend. 1 is 100% VG which I have noticed seem to be more sweet and the other is a mix that gives a pretty good throat hit.
I have yet to find the perfect tobacco blend. Most seem smooth and do not give a good throat hit.
I stumbled across Gourmet Vapor and made my own blend and ordered a few 5ml types to see how I like them.
So I am searching for a sweet strawberry with a great throat hit and a good tobacco flavor with a tremendous throat hit.
Any help would be appreciated.
Also if you would like to know where and what I mix for my current strawberry just let me know

Welcome to ECF !
It sounds as if you are trying to use the RES like a tank...it isn't.
The Apex Alphas with RES have a good bit of a learning curve... good info and videos here:
