OMg that is so awesome! i have only read the first page of replies, so I don't know if anyone else has said this, but I think all hte packages coming your way should be padded with diapers from now on..... :)

OMG!! you know those baby leashes that have a stuffed animal on the back as a back pack?? I bet those would make an excellent storage place for vaping gear on the go!!!

You are doing really well, glad your job is going to get easier. Pregnancy can be a roller coaster ride for the first 3 months, usually settle down with the nausea around 12 weeks so won't be too much longer hopefully and also you won't be quite so tired. Seems like that first 3 months just kicks the hell out of you but soon you will just be able to enjoy being prego and all the wonderful things that come with it.

YIPEE!!! Home at last
I was addicted to Taco Bell while preggers...I hear ya.

As was my wife.... one day after weeks and weeks of eating taco bell I heard myself ask her what she wanted for lunch and before she could answer I felt nausea hitting me. I have never been pregnant as that has not been possible for men (yet .....YIKES) but I have seen and talked to alot of women going through it all and you definitley get your energy back. CRAZY energy and the insanity ensues. If your DH (? sorry for assuming) needs any emotional support from your pregnancy insanity tell him to feel free to pm me from your account if he doen't have his own I have been on his end 3 times. You all are beautiful while pregnant but you tend to lose your minds....lol

Thanks for all the experience and advice! Breast feeding is really starting to intimidate me after watching all the problems people have with it on tv shows.

And I had never witnessed anyone giving birth before. So, I looked online and found a birthing video. OMG I am really scared now!

lol.. ok, someone else has probably said this by now.. but NO! hehe.. don't EVER watch the videos of childbirth!!! Woman have this wonderful thing going on... we miraculously FORGET what childbirth is like (else there would never be more than one child per family) It's a scientific fact!

Just try not to think about it (I remember in my childbirthing class.. the first kid.. they showed a video of a woman giving birth to a 10 pounder WITHOUT meds... luckily.. we all were already pregnant!! lol) and take solice in the fact that you'll forget whatever happens :)

I was crazy mean but...maybe I shouldn't mention it, sorry! But I never felt sick, ever. My son is almost 11, I haven't thrown up in nearly 12 years. Once when I was pregnant, because of food poisoning, that's it! Loved being pregnant! :D

For nausea a piece of dry toast or unsalted crackers usually helps settle it.

Red,
I don't know why I didn't think to post this earlier. This would be great for the kitty litter box. You'd be able to wait for your husband to come home to empty the tray.

We've tried all the other automatic litter boxes. Over the past ten years, I've probably spent a thousand bucks on automatic boxes and all the other ones break after a few months.
With this one, we can empty the tray, which we have lined with trash bags, once a week with three cats. I know that it's a bunch of money but ours has lasted over three years.

P.S. I have a huge nausea problem all the time, which was one of the main reasons to purchase this. What works for me are the following: reed's ginger chews, reed's ginger ale, which has 17 grams of ginger in it (equal to 34 ginger capsules), and Eclectic Institute's freeze dried ginger, something important seems to be lost when they heat-dry ginger. Most store shelf ginger ales barely have any real ginger in them. Ohh and stay away from blenheim ginger ale, it has tons of real ginger but is way too strong for most people.

LUCKY! I get nauseous naturally and am very prone to motion sickness and things like that anyway, so I expected it. This morning was the worst it's been. I'm sitting in my office right now just wanting to go to sleep so I won't feel the nausea:( My jeans are definitely feeling tight today. I should've wore that Beband thing that I got at Target! Still haven't told people at work yet. Can't wait until next week's prenatal appt. so I can tell people & make sure the baby is healthy.

Great idea, Enid. I'll have to look into that.

I did buy some Psi bands for nausea and drank some Reed's extra ginger ale (which has a LOT of sugar, too!), and some lemon ginger herbal tea. Haven't found the ginger chews yet, though.

Is seltzer water supposed to help nausea?

On Friday, I just totally busted out crying on the way home from work. I mean it was that uncontrollable sob type crying! Guess it is a combo of hormones, exhaustion, and the pressure of my new job.

Oh yeah, and I think I am getting something like restless leg syndrome. I get really antsy sitting for long periods of time and my legs start acting twitchy. In fact it's happening right now and giving me the creeps!

oh goodness Red, I HAVE Restless Leg Syndrome, have had it for years. We call it Shaky Leg around my house. the kiddos and the hubby knows when mom starts throwing her leg out to relieve the twitch, it is bedtime, cause i will be asleep in no time once it starts acting up. but unfortunately, then i have it all night :( is the WORST sensation, and it's like an itch, you HAVE to twitch to relieve it. soooo annoying! i am 6 weeks 2 days today and I am PRAYING to the Nausea gods they spare me this go around. I don't do nausea very well. but my sense of smell has gone to crazy heights already, and that is not a good thing!

Haha, hubby hasn't stopped crying since I told him yesterday, but it is a happy cry. my big teddy bear :)
