I'll have to carry my equipment every where I go...Correct? I mean it can't be in a car during the summer, forget about the cold during the winter ect...

Seem's like i'll have to bring it everywhere I go so that it doesn't explode/drain battery/leak all over my car due to heat, coldness, meteor showers or tsunamis.

Somebody help me understand all of this.

What's not to understand?

Batteries and e-liquids (specifically nicotine) do not like heat. You don't want either of them in a hot car where the nicotine breaks down to non-effectiveness, or the batteries decide to play 4th of July fireworks.

Not sure what extreme cold would do to anything, but there's probably something not good about that, too.

Batteries die unexpectedly. Juice delivery devices stop working at the most inopportune times. Forgot to fill that tank last night and now it's empty, and no bottle of juice with you? Unless you are confident you can go several hours without your vape, you need backups.

Ego cases are available which can house a couple of batteries, a few clearomizers or cartomizers, and a couple of bottles of juice.

Whatever your setup and supplies that you need to get you through your day (including backups), find a carrying case or bag to haul it all wherever you go. I like to bring a few mods with me to work, including some extra cartotanks and spare batteries for "just in case" situations. I use a mini-laptop zippered bag that has three pockets and a shoulder strap which is large enough to carry all that gear and can still fit easily in my clothes locker at work.

If I'm just going out for a couple of hours, I don't bring all of that. But I do bring a spare battery and a filled second tank with me.

Little cases like the above are useful to carry a spare battery or a tank. Always carry batteries in such a case or a plastic battery case. Never carry in a pocket of loose change or car keys, or in a purse. Any metal can create an electrical circuit with the battery and result in something like this:

Just making the transition and am not used to worrying about my where I put my "nicotine" at. I'm the type of person that likes to carry around as little as possible. I guess once I get used to this hobby everything will start making more sense.

I did purchase a Ego case to hold my equipment for when I'm out and about. I just didn't want to have to worry about leaving it in my glove box for 8 hours this summer while I try to earn a paycheck.

But hey, all the positives still out way the negatives. :)

I can't speak to freezing temps. But, this will be my third summer vaping in sunny Florida. I keep spare batts (18650s & eGos), jooses and a plugged in charger in my vehicle year round; although they do get rotated occasionally (except da charger). In fact, I keep new kits in the back for possible v-verts all the time.

Keep da batts and jooses shaded within your vehicle. In other words, don't just put 'em on the dash in the sun. Hell, I have a GPS, radio scanner and flashlights that have survived many July 4ths over the years in my Tahoe!

As for the nic, many promote heating jooses to promote steeping. Just saying...

I've noticed no deterioration in joose potency/flav nor equipment malfunctions thus far. IMHO, some topics can just be over thunk!

Understood. Just understand that vaping is harder than smoking ever was.

With smoking, all you needed was a pack and a lighter and you were good to go. Need more cigs? The store down the block has them.

With vaping, its hard work. It takes planning and diligence. Everything in the setup must work or you can't vape. Batteries, delivery device, juice. Backups for those.

Realize these things are mechanical devices, and they can and do fail from time to time. Just be prepared for the unexpected. You don't want any reason to have to return to smoking after all of your hard work in quitting.

At first yeah. In time you'll be able to go longer and longer between reaching for a device or in this case, worrying about having everything in place. Plus at the rate the technology is maturing, in time you'll feel even less being a slave to your equipment.

Sure beats loose teeth from the gum, marks on skin from the patch, SUICIDAL thoughts from the pill, and basically just boils down to remaining a smoker without the smoke or the terrible things that come with it.

To be fair you should never leave a lighter in a hot car in the summer either. Leaving a gas filled pressurized container in a vehicle that can easily reach 150F on an 80F day is not a wise idea. Here in Texas we can have up to 110F days and the interior of the car can reach an excess of 200F. Lighters can also explode under these conditions. Also the glove box acts like an oven when the car gets hot. If you have to leave something in the car, put it in a shaded floorboard so it can a bit more air flow than in the glove box.

For the winter, cold can sap a batteries life. Just ask someone from Minneapolis what happens to their car battery if they don't keep it warm on those really cold nights.

An e cigarette is an electronic device. Unless it is so hot that it would fry your phone or so cold that it would freeze it then it won't be a problem. Sometimes these things get leaky, you can try using a cart instead of a tank if you don't like it... E cigarettes don't blow up. There isn't enough energy in a battery to blow up. Batteries are not explosive devices. You may, take them to lunch, church, police stations, even airports. You don't even need a weapons permit to carry one.

I like to carry as little as possible also. I leave the house every day with a 650 mAh battery, an atomizer and a bottle of liquid. Takes up about as much space as a pack of smokes, and if my atomizer happens to burn out I can buy an NJoy King to last me until I get home.

I haven't had an atomizer die yet, and I usually go about 2 months on one.

I don't worry about the cold as my juices are 50% PG which has a freezing point of about -72F. Even at a 50/50 mix that should keep them from freezing at the worst temperatures I expect to encounter. Lithium ion batteries actually maintain their charge better if kept at 0C so I don't worry about them getting cold.

As for the heat I just put my juice and extra batteries in a small bag I have that has several compartments. In another compartment I put a freezer pack that will keep everything cool. I store it in the trunk when out of the car. The car may be blistering hot when I get back but the juice and batteries have stayed cool.

Kinda depends on how you define "Everything".

When I go out, I put a Filled CE2 on my Vamo and Hit the Bricks. Doesn't seem like a lot to Carry.

I believe that it was due to vaping that the term "murse" came into existence, lol.
