alovingmommyof3 - Here's the best price I've found on a box of five Boge 510 empty cartomizers with soft caps - $7.95. They will fit your eGo and are much less hassle to fill and refill than the eGo Mega cartomizers that have a tapered mouthpiece.

510 BOGE SOFT CAP Blank Cartomizers

They ship the same day from Avis, PA. I'm in no way affiliated with any e-cig supplier. This is where I've been buying my cartos, and I've had no problems with them.

Yep I have both the rubber capped 510 cartos and the XL ego cartos... I love my XL ego cartos.. I take 30 minutes a day and fill 2 of them and they are good for about 6-8 hours of vaping each.. I use the rubber cap 510s as back ups in case I am out and run low in the XLs... The XLs are easier to pull/hit IMO.. the 510 ones are harder to pull through/hit.. I want to try some rubber capped LR 510 cartos though cause the rubber capped ones are easier to mess with..

Do you have a link to where you got the XL cartos? The ones I got didn't work out for some odd reason.

I've experienced the same problems with the 510 cartos. Last week I ordered some 801 cartos from Madvapes ( along with some 510 battery adapters) and they are great. They are larger than the 510's (they hold 40 drops) and are seamless. I've used the same one for 9 days with no loss of flavor or leakage (to fill, remove the flat mouthpiece and drip down the side). I use a 5v PT and my Ego. The vapor and throat hit is amazing. They go for 2.49 and imho they are worth it.

I got a couple of those from MV too, made by Bauway. The flavor is great, better than anything else I've tried, but I get a really hard draw on my Prodigy. Guess I'll have to dig out my 510/801 adapter... now, where did I put that thing??

"... I soaked it in a condom. When I can tell the carto is about empty, I just grab another refilled carto. I don't want to be messing around with switching cartos every few drags. This is just my simple way of vaping -- and it works for me.

How do you prevent from sucking juice into your mouth when dragged on? When I put a few drops too many into mine, I get lips full of juice. What's the trick?

Spit it all out into a kleenex. Keep a box of tissues handy at all times.

What I do, when I realize I've overfilled a carto, is to wipe out the excess juice that's between the filter and the end cap using a q-tip. I also wipe the threaded ends every time I fill cartos, even when I haven't overfilled any of them.

But I'm not using the condom method anymore. I take off the end caps and use a 1mL syringe to squirt the juice into the filter, holding the carto at a 45-degree angle. This has helped a lot to not overfill them. It's a lot quicker, too, because I usually don't have to wipe either end very much, if any.
