...just as title sez.

I vape the Sidesho; have been filling my own carts for almost a year now and am beginning to be tired of it. From reading posts is seems like many people prefer drip-tipping, and it seems much easier. So I ordered 2 tips from nHaler, as they were referenced in a post I found on this forum relative to the Sidesho.

The problem is that I have not the vaguest idea how to use them. They look to be of a consistent size with the Sidesho, but that just makes it all the more problematic to me as it is difficult for me to determine how to put a cartridge in them, or stick them over an atomizer, or place inside an outer cartridge in place of an inner cartridge, or how I would keep liquid from dribbling out the mouth-end even if I did know how to attach it to my battery/atomizer.

If anyone out there could give me a very simple primer instructing me how to use this, I would be eternally grateful. Please note, that in the absence of very specifically relevant video (meaning including a Sidesho) all text should be written as though you are addressing a particularly dense child.

Thank you very much

hello "particularly dense child". i dont own a drip-tip. i direct drip on the bridge. but my understanding is that once you have a drip tip, you pretty much use the drip tip as the mouthpiece. instead of a little hole, you have a big open hole. you drip your juice down into the hole... funnel like. ive heard you do a few drops. tap it on the table once to make sure the gravity fed the juice down to the bridge. i would imagine a drip tip would make it WAY easy to kill automatic batteries. maybe all that'll help you figure it out, eh?

berube27,

hello "fun lookin' drummer guy" while I appreciate (greatly) your generous response - I must insist that "particularly dense child" is but a description of my self, while my (proper) name is Iullus Cornelius Smegmus Magnus Pantocrator: I will thank you (kindly) to remember this in future.

anywhoo - I've been Sidesho'n it for almost a full year; I use the mod (whatever it's called) with straws and foam, and am generally pretty happy w/ it. Nevertheless, I feel like moving on: I have been considering the Lux, but I really like automatic batteries, as I feel like they mimic the experience I had w/ analogs rather well; I am beginning to consider more radical alternatives to the Sidesho, but because I have been so happy w/ Tony's service I have been reluctant to look outside the fold. That's why I decided to try drip - tips; I hoped they would relieve the inconvenience that I now feel using the Sidesho (having broken my vaping - cherry with it, you see) without having to forsake the excellent Modern Vapor service which I have come to love.

...concerning the specifics of your response: I don't call myself dense for no reason. I have zero idea how to even attach the drip - tip(s) I got from nHaler to the e - schmag (my word for e - cigarette) that I have. Thus, I cannot use it as a mouthpiece. Perhaps I got the wrong size; the site said it was interchangable w/ 510's/901's. BTW: I am under the impression that the Sidesho is a 510; is that incorrect? Also; does the numeration (510/901) apply to the battery, the atomizer, or the threading?

Thank you, berube27, and anyone else.

Thank you, Nightseer.

...seems you're likely right on your assessment; I appreciate your help. I may need to explore the 306 angle. On the other hand, I may need to explore avenues outside the realm of the Sidesho.

...maybe you might be kind enough to enlighten me on matters 306 - ish relative to my questions concerning making my Sidesho experience more pleasing unto me?

Either way, I am thankful for your help.

Cheers.

Somewhere in time.
A 306 atty will fit your Sidesho batteries almost perfectly. You can add a 306 drip tip to it-it just slips right on.

A 510 will also work (same threads as the 306 and sidesho) if you just want to buy an atty-you already have the tip-but it's slightly larger than the sidesho batts in diameter, so looks a bit odd. Never bothered me-but makes some people nuts.
