Funny how all analogs are the same but all vaping gear is different.

Ya know... when you go buy a pack of smokes, they're pretty much all the same. Tubes of paper with a filter in one end and tobacco packed in the other end. Not too complicated, not too much variation. And they ALL work the way you expect them to, for better or worse. The same every time- same strength, same TH, same nic level, same delivery system- every time.

Then there's vaping...

Small batteries, bigger batteries, giant momba sized batteries. Regulated, unregulated, variable voltage, variable wattage. All different chargers.

Cartomizers, clearomizers, tanks, carto tanks. Disposable, replaceable, rebuildable.

A million different juices. Tobacco, fruits, bakery, drinks- you name it, it's out there. PG, VG, NET, WTA. Methol, extra flavor, cool mint. 6, 12, 18, 24, 36mg of nic- or none at all.

So... how does it take all this variety and all these options to replace one tiny little tube of paper with a filter in one end and tobacco packed in the other end?

Because it is possible? Because while you are smoking you are just feeding an addiction and when you are vaping you have the choice to choose. And now that you can get your nicotine (or not if you choose) with the taste of fresh bananas, why not? Most people's tastes in what they want, when they have the ability to taste again, vary so much from person to person. Some people like low voltage with low resistance and some like higher voltage with higher resistance. Variable wattage is basically a different way of doing variable voltage. Some people don't vape enough to need more than a device that can hold 1ml of liquid and some people need 3-5.


TL DR version: Because it is possible and because we can.

Tobacco.......Cigaretts, shorts, longs, 100's, kings, menthol, turkish blends, virginia blends, danish blends (hundreds of blends) roll your own ( a subculture in itself with a variety of equiptment, blends, tubes) chewing tobacco's, dipping tobaccos, snuff, pipes and hundreds of blends, thousands of lighters, ashtray's, matches, lets not even get into the vast world of cigars........ Just off the top of my head.

not everyone of the same brand will taste the same some will taste sweet right out of a new pack them some may taste like plastic burning and there is always the stale tasting ones right out of the pack

then add in the pipe collectors, dry leaf vaporizers, hooka style and on and on.
