It can be hard to control yourself with all the stuff they have out there. I too had to tell myself to throw away carts and clearomizers this was hard because I was always like I can go just one more day. Anyway I learned to toss my stuff in the trash when it was past it's prime.

I, like someone else here said, am a minimalist and I am not looking for another hobby either. I just want a replacement for smoking nasty cigarettes, and I have found it and am finally finally free from tobacco.. life is good.

see I would never throw anything away. or sell it. If I stopped vaping today I would just put it in a box and into storage. never know when you might need it one day

This is why I have my REO's. I buy good atty's (Cisco or Ikenvape), and they last for weeks or more on end. I just refill my bottles and recharge my batteries, and that's that. Very little maintenance or fussing required.

I am going into the 3rd week with my original ce2 inside my map tank... talk about love! A 5 min cleaning on empty tank and like new again. If all of the ce2's last this long, this will be the best buy everrrrr! This is even less work than the eGo-T's and there's no risk of dropping the wick

The REO seems like a good device, but I cant get into vaping a box.

It can be inexpensive, IF you just get one MOD with a 6 ml tank and just purchase the jooses, or DIY. It will pay off eventually. But like anything else, it will cost at first. Just my

crap…So to speak….

After too many trial and error forays…I’ve returned to solely using an eGo with genuine Joytech cartomizers…Cigarettes were costing me about 13 bucks a day when I smoked(7.50+ per pack)…The problem is after giving up the expensive analogs…all of a sudden I also turned into the mad scientist…Dr. Cheap…I’ve tried to use cartos longer than I should have…and wallowed away hours trying to coax, clean or fiddle with other carts,cartos, tanks and mods…

While vaping has helped my life and health take big turn for the better… It’s also taken up too much time and created too many hassles…..mostly do to my penny-pinching…

Well this is all coming to an end…I’m budgeting myself enough money for using 1 carto a day…That’s probably about double what I need to satisfy my vaping/nicotine habit…Including my juice consumption…and averaging out batteries/passthroughs and chargers….I doubt I will ever exceed for one month what I paid for a weeks worth of cigarettes….

My coffee table will no longer be a vaping graveyard/.... lab…After I deem a carto to be past it’s prime …it will go into the garbage..As someone here once said…I want vaping…..and satisfying my nicotine habit…..to become less a part of my life…not more part of it…

Considering for over 20+ years….all it took to keep me happy getting my nicotine fix was a small paper tube of tobacco and a cheap bic lighter…There is no reason a simple vaping system…can’t achieve the same results… without all the added chaos…..

It’s interesting hearing others thoughts about their own vaping "lifestyle"….Thanks to those who took the time to post… Although I think a few of you might have misunderstood my scrambled ramblings(totally understandable)….

My ranting isn’t about the money I spend to vape… While my penny pinching has played a role in my troubles….my reason for being that way is one I still don’t understand….I’ll just blame all of you and this forum for giving me all the cleaning tips…. If my only option to have vaping work for me and satisfy my nicotine fix cost me 300 bucks a month and required endless hours cleaning and tweaking…I’d still be ahead….and happy…The fact is …it doesn’t…and need not be for others…..

All I want is for things to be easy, simple… and work….I’ve found …as someone else aptly put…my zone.... It’s good to hear others have too…no matter what system they choose to vape….Where some of us part ways…is not why we vape….but what "role" do we want …or let it…. play in our lives…

Again…to each his/her own…I’m not judging what others want to do….I only expressed my thoughts as sort of a disclaimer on the vaping community package…"Warning...this doesn’t have to be as complicated, time comsuming...or expensive as it appears to be"
