Funny looks

I've had questions, no looks that I could tell. My opening line is usually something like..."Yes, it's an e-cig, and you can also get normal looking ones, smaller ones too"....

I've converted 2 people in only 8 weeks of vaping.
Very strong comparison lol. I was very skeptical about the ecigs after previously trying to quit using a cigalike and failing miserably. ecig's have come such a long way and are far better than they where a couple of years back. Image how cool they will be 2 more years from now. ecigs will eventually beat the cigs in time.
I found after the first month my cigs cravings sort of disappeared. I only crave the vape now, which is cool.
I only have gotten disappointed smokers now that I don't have any analogs they can bum off me or a light. Yeah, I meant to carry a lighter with me still, I just forgot.
I still get people teasing me, offering me smokes but I just ignore them. In fact I avoid the smoking area at work now. I can vape anywhere even in pubs.
ecigs have become huge in Nottingham UK. even teens/kids have got one, in fact schools are trying to ban them. yet I still get lots of odd looks. elderly folk are the funniest. so puzzled lol.
The only interest anyone has shown in my PV was a lady in the next lane, grinning and giving me a thumbs up when she saw me puffing on my iTaste. I raised it, like toasting her, and she grinned bigger and gave me another thumbs up. She was driving, so i didn't see a cigalike or PV, but I'm willing to bet she's a vaper too! I was quite tickled about it, as most people seem to either just not see it, or just ignore it. But, people who actually know me are quite surprised and pleased at the lack of a cloud of stink around me. 
I'm appalled to discover just what I actually smelled like, when I'm around smokers now. EEEuuuwwww!

Living in New York City I definitely feel weird carrying my SVD/18650 around. Especially when it's in the evening and I'm walking through an alley and I take out what looks like a lightsaber or worse, a baton...I get paranoid that skittish people will freak out if they see me passing by. So whenever I take my mod outdoors I either grab my Provari Mini or stick a 18350 on my SVD to keep a lower profile.
I'm also wary of vaping while in a crowd, which is weird because when I used to smoke I never cared! It's probably because people don't understand what's in that stuff; at least they KNOW cigarette smoke is bad?
But as far as funny looks, I guess that's a tiny benefit of living here; there are so many distractions no one has any time to pay attention to you.

Sad to hear he's familiar with "doing" his cousin. You may want to avoid that guy.
What completly pull me off analogs was the flavor of ejuice a was vaping. I craved it like a woman craves chocolatte at the time and havent looked back at those stinky things since. I have noticed that I tend to get nausiated when I am around smokers.
I felt nauseated when I started vaping. soon got used to it. I prefer more PG than VG now. better hit, less dizzy.

yeah, smoking stinks terrible. I've noticed it. my house smells way better now.
That is the worst analogy I've ever heard HAHA.
I've gotten a few strange looks. I'm waiting for a Nemesis clone to come in to fit my AGI which will be my first non-ego battery and first RBA. I want to see what looks I'll get with that piece of machinery haha.
Yeah man I feel the same way. I kinda like the looks tho, its kinda empowering.
I havee got a few,one guy thought I was smoking (OTHER STUFF) .

Mostly, I get the looks while driving. Like it's hard to tell what kind of device I'm puffing on or what I'm vaporizing.

I get the looks cause I have huge plumes of vape escaping the car every time I have to roll my window down to clear it.

I dont really get dirty looks... I get alot of dumb people asking me for a smoke or a light.
Then I get the people that come up and ask whats in there.. is it some good stuff? (wink wink)
I just laugh and explain to them its e-juice and leave it at that....
