My three work horses. The vivi nova with batten cotton, and the other two with SS. They all have the same 2.4 ohm 32g a1 kanthal coil. All the same juice but the nova and the converted smoktech with the air intake right under the wick need less voltage than the Line to give the same vaper and TH.

Drilled out one wick hole closist to neg to a 1/8 hole, rolled up a #400 SS mesh wick, 3/4 coil. drilled a 1/16 hole in side of tube aligned with wick. Did not plug the origanal air hole yet and not sure i will. worked the wick into like a z shape to get it close to the positive post so as not to have a hot leg on top.

Hits like a train :) :)

It is a shame these have gotten such a bad rap, even to co-ops canceling them. They will probably not be on the market for long because of the bad rap and biased reviews. Any knowledgeable reviewer would instantly see the modding potential in these. That is a shame because with a simple effort of drilling a 3/32" hole and switching two screws you get a really great genesis mod and you can't beat the price.

I hope they don't take these off the market just because of a few poor reviews that don't reflect the potential of these.
I am going to try your mod on mine, it just got here today & I use a LT too, so it should be good :D
If it performs as expected I'll be snapping up a few more of these, so I can have various flavors sitting around in tanks.
I might have to make some kind of wooden stand for them though, so they can sit upright on my desk LOL

I wish I could make a decent ss wick that doesn't taste like I am licking an exhaust manifold, but I guess that's another thread. I know they take breaking in but I can't stand the taste long enough to break it in lol
I find that if I break it in at lower voltage you don't get as much metallic taste, after 1ml a little crud builds up and the flavor is good to go at higher voltages.

IMO, in it's current offering, you have to mod it in order to make it work properly. It's not hard though, and once it's properly set up, it vapes well.

I knew that when I bought it though.

I AGREE. Just watched you video and I've got about 12+ pics saved on my computer for when mine arives, lol Good Reveiw Fazed.

Thanks Fazed, great review. I have been vaping mine now for a couple of days and it is great. I use the original air hole as it works on my box mods and LT. The air hole right under the wick gives a hotter TH that I like. I actually drilled my wick hole with a slight slant to position the wick close to the pos post and not use nr wire as Dan did. These are great for the price and will vape as good as the premium models.
