G-priv2 fire button kills it

My g-priv 2 turns on with no problem, but as soon as you hit the fire button it automatically turn off, I have tried a different tank and different batteries and I cant get it to connect to my pc to do a firmware update

What tank/topper is on the Smok? What is the resistance of the coil/build?
Do you have an external charger?
Do you have a back up device to prevent you from using cigarettes again?

I've read a few people on here say that Smok quality is improving, so much for that theory

G-priv 2 230w Tc with a prince tank with a v12 prince coil.15 ohms 40-80 watts the batteries are 3.7v 3000mah

What, it turns on doesn't it!! Improved!! And the auto off is working too

It sounds like a battery/power issue.
What is the brand and model of battery(s) you are using?
Do you have an external charger or do you charge the Smok via USB?

I charge them USB, but if I try my friends batteries that are a different brand, it still does it

Sorry about your mod, I know it's not as humorous to you,. Smok just doesn't seem to be very reliable. If you have the funds, might look for just about any other brand to replace it..

Could contact:
Local B&M Vape Shop (Visit)/someone who knows what their doing -----Might be simple.
Vendor who sold it ---see if they will repair or replace or advise (any authorized distributor).
Manufacturer contact ---see if they will repair or replace or advise.
