Okay guys this one's gonna be good ! I think ? Well let me set it off & then you tell me .
The G4 510 cartomizer from Avid Vaper.com : I got this bcuz I was drawn to the idea of having no filler , looks & is , very easy to fill . Neither of these cartomizers I mention come in LR which is really a shame but at any rate I filled it with Moist Mango 32mg from Mister-E-Liquid and tested it first on a simple 3.7v box mod (14500 battery) and then I used it on my Indulgence Titanium V2 , also a 3.7v. It seems to have a coil at the bottom with a small tube leading from it the length of the carto . It has a soft & quite comfortable soft tip "aka" stopper . It requires the ejuice to be placed around the tube not in it , I believe the tube is meant as a air intake tube of some sort , if anyone knows I'm wrong ,by all means correct me . It took some priming drags to get it started but once it was going it was pretty dag gone good . The taste was crisp & clean tasting , could definitely taste the full flavor of the ejuice . The throat hit was on point, little tingle in the back of the throat and the vapor was full , similar to an analog . It definitely tasted better on my box mod pairing the thick vapor ,strong throat hit and the nice full robust flavor . I could only think how much better this would be if it was a low resistance carto . I vaped all day & night with this and actually found it to be a Happy Vape . Also tried on 6v on my Indulgence and it was awesome that way too but really preferred it on my box mod (4.2v with full charge)

The CE2 XL Clearomizer from TotallyWicked : Got this for two reasons (1) They were on sale for 9 bucks (5pack) and (2) figured I would need them to replace the wick in my new StormTank . Again I could not find these in LR , maybe it's just me but I think every carto should have a LR version but in this vaping game you don't always find the perfect toy to play with . Now these CE2's have to be uncorked sorta speak in order to fill and a syringe is necessary in order to fill . I personally don't like needles period , but gotta do it to vape . This carto also doesn't have any filler but instead has wicking ropes (two) starting from near the top & running down the length of the carto . It has a little rubber ring above the wicks & above that a mouthpiece which is included in the 5pack . Once filled I put it on my box mod and it took a bit longer to prime in order to get rid of the nasty burned wick taste . Nowhere near as much flavor or throat hit or vapor . No matter how hard I tried it just didn't have that UMPH to make me wanna keep vaping with it . I got juice in mouth and just could not find my happy vape . Thought the vapor was descent it was light in my mouth and no matter how long the drag , the vapor remained the same . With this carto there's not a doubt in my mind that making it LR would definitely make it better . The main difference between the two , the G4 gave off a heavier vape with full flavor . It feels heavy in your mouth and makes you very aware that you are indeed vaping . The CE2 reminded me of smoking lights , you know how it is when your used to full flavor cigarettes but the store only has lights ? And you find yourself having to smoke 2 or 3 of them just to feel like you smoked one of your regulars .

I hope this helped anyone looking into either one of these cartos and if anyone has some further input . by all means SHARE . I'm trying to find a carto that is as close to dripping as possible , so if you know of any such device let me know:vapor:

I found that AvidVaper has a newer version of the G4's ,bcuz I also bought some from Wordup I believe or it may have been Gotvapes but either way . I had gotten one as a sample and it didn't work very well . Vapor was lousy on it , but that was a few months ago . They were on sale over the 4th of July weekend & I had read somewhere about how improvements were made on the G4 . The newer ones are definitely better , the others had a funky stopper on the end where the tube went straight thru it & if you push it too far on , the tip will get stuck in the carto

The G4s I got a couple of weeks ago had a big ribbed mushroom head that could not be pushed in farther than necessary to seal the tank; don't know if they're the newest or not. 4 out of 5 leaked right through the bottom when I filled them. The one that worked tasted great, but gave very little vapor with a 50/50 e-liquid. I got one of the leakers working and had the same result. I believe I heard they are over 4 ohm, so that may be it (my own multimeter should be here soon :D).

The XL CE2 clearos I got last week absolutely rock with flavor and vapor. :p

I would guess there are a few versions of both of these on the market from the various vendors. Obviously, ymmv as it's hard to tell at first who's got the goods or what revision each vendor has.

The ones from Avidvapers are 2.4 - 2.6 ohms

I have also tried both the G4 and the CE2, and personally if I had to make a choice between the 2 would go for the CE2. I don't personally use either but my wife does. The issue I have with the G4 is that if you lay your PV down or know it over, juice goes straight down the centre air tube, and you then get gurgling etc. To me that is just too much work as my wife is always either laying her PV down or knowing it over. She has decided to stick with the CE2,s, only because any of the tank or 510 attys contain nickel which she has a reaction to.

If you slide the transport out on this vid to about 1:20 and start from there, you can see a ce2 in action. I get about the same vapor with a 2.7 ohm (metered) ce2 and 14650 e-power. I also take a little shorter draw, about six seconds compared to his ten or so, but I'm also vaping 80/20 and he says he's vaping all pg ry4.

I'm just bookmarked that vid and I'm going to start posting it to show how a good slow draw gives the liquid time to vaporize. I can't slow my intake down that much lol. He may be preheating a little before starting his draw, but it looks like he's mastered the fine art of vaporizing liquid instead of burning tobacco. :vapor: ‪CE2 Clearomizer XL Cartomizer review‬‏ - YouTube

Sounds to me you over filled them and got some juice down the middle tube . The juice has to be placed around the center tube and filled up to where the stopper or tip would end . The stopper has to be lined up with the center tube & pushed in up to where the ridges begin . From my tinkering with the G4 the only way I can see it leaking from the bottom is if juice is in the center tube and the ones I have are supposed to be 2.4 - 2.6 ohms but I haven't actually tested them to be for certain

I just watched a few videos on youtube and the ones from Gotvapes are called the Vortex . The reviews are mostly good , I een saw one where it was used in a MAP Tank . I bought a Storm Tank but it can't be laid on the side or completely filled & I just can't seem to get it to vape properly . (smh)

OK...so here's a review from (a Newbie) someone still chipping on cigarettes and trying to find that perfect fix.

To give you a little bit of background, i started on disposables pre filled carts that i found myself having to drip every use. It just wasn't working for me but to their credit they got me hooked on a potential way to quit smoking !

...I quickly graduated to the 510-T...the tanks are swell, but I dont' know if i have a defective atomizer unit or what, but i would often get a mouth full of juice, or it would drain out at the seal betwen the battery and Atomizer...not to mention i could get the top of the cart to to flip sometimes, but 8 out of 10 tanks i had to use a syringe to fill them.

so then i found this forum and started a little bit of research...Ordered both the G4 and the CE2.

I echo the sentiments i have read about the gurgling the G4 does if you lay it down. And before anyone suggests that i'm overfilling anything i'll declare that I've only ever filled tanks and Carts HALF full to ensure I wasn't the one causing any problems.

i opened up the CE2 pack about an hour ago. Don't like the mouthpiece so much, but it's a clean smooth drag. Filling it isn't fun ...i don't like the idea of carrying around a syringe..but so far the CE2 is hands down better than the G4 and Tanks. IMHO
