Guys, we're working on this. Steve is out of town until Tuesday, so it will be at least until then before anything is resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience!

If he is out of town until Tuesday, how is he starting pre-orders for Protege Monday or Tuesday? :( I hope this stays on schedule. LOL

It is time puresmoker steps up and gets a real check out system like other major retailers in which they can directly accept credit and debit cards.


Thing is they're not a major retailer. They're a much smaller operation. Getting a merchant account solves part of the problem for an e-seller, but it gives them a new one: security. Imagine logging on one day to find that someone has hacked all of our credit card numbers out of their system. With PP they didn't have to worry about that and neither did we.

So, how about Google Checkout?
 
Check your Paypal account. I put an order in on the 27th and Paypal says the transaction is completed. The PS folks are having a long weekend, and nothing is shipping until Tuesday, IIRC.

I would bet that Steve shut it down just to take a break form the hundreds of orders a day. He said "We will release the Protege when we are caught up on the Prodigy and PT." How do you think that will happen if he is out of town for 5 days. Maybe we are reading too much into this. He may just click on "accept orders" and problem solved... (Let's pray anyway)

I thought i read in the E-cig news section of the very forum tat paypal said e-cig purchases were alright. Maybe a problem with PS's account, or network, or even Paypal's network. Anyone have an update?

Dang i neeed to order some spare parts, and.... yes some more liquid, dang.

JC still processes through paypal, wtf.

It was originally Casey who came on and said paypal had shut them down, so you have to figure that is accurate. I'm just betting they already had an alternative lined up. They're too smart not to, I think.
But it will take a while for someone to do the web setup to get credit cards working on their site, and deleting out all of the paypal stuff.
So I'm going to patiently watch and wait. I have ordering I want to do, too. But puresmoker is worth the wait, imho.

Hey everyone- Steve is out of town until TUESDAY. He did not intentionally shut us down or else that would have been announced. As I posted before, nothing will be announced until Tuesday when Steve gets back and gets our alternative payment gateway set up and finalized.

IChoseVaping, could you please edit this portion out of your post? I don't want users starting to send payments or emails to Steve@puresmoker.com because it is NOT a valid address for paypal or email any longer. Sure would appreciate it! Thanks!

Ditto!! The PaymentPussies can bite me. Stick a fork in me --I'm done. I don't know how many times I've been through this with those .......s. This is so ridiculous. I thought my husband was being a bit .... about his money when he refused to accept Payment..... as CC clearing service. And now, I have to go and say, "You were right...I was wrong. Sorrrrry" I hate it when that happens.
