I've owned 2 Legend 200s ,1 Legend 100 and I guess I'm just lucky but I've had no battery issues, no flickering screens .
As far as temp control I'm not a fan of the way it flutters , for lack of a better word, the heat on and off no matter what firmware I ran on said device. My introduction to temp control was on an istick 40 and the vape got warm/cool/warm during a puff but never to the extreme my Legends do. I'm ok in watt mode and ecstatic in watt mode when a co-worker fires up a cigarette when I'm stressed out and an old habit lie tries to sneak in the back door (just 1 won't hurt) and I can pull in a couple of lung fulls of blueberry menthol instead of a Marlboro green.
Geekvape seems to have abandoned the Legend 100 almost as fast as Samsung abandons their mobile devices but I'm ok with the current firmware in mine.

100 fan here.

Patiently waiting on the mini. I considered the limited edition floater but decided to wait on the mini. I know, I know, internal battery and all. But as often as I charge (once a week or less) I figure the electronics will fail long before the battery. Plus I like to tinker so I aint above a DIY battery swap-age.

I finally have the right tank (aesthetically) on my black legend, .a black Zenith vaping great but it also (finally) looks like they match and aren't too tiny, etc. I would take a pic but a) I woke up an hour early, so still reeling and b) you know me and pics.

I dropped it for the first time yesterday. It went great , LOL it was funny to feel HAPPY about finally dropping the mod.

I almost expected it to bounce but it didn't. It also doesn't have a scratch on it, kind of nice.

My 100 is getting scratches , dings, dents, and the paint on the fire button is disappearing little by little. I'm kinda liking the haggard look.

Apparently, per the fluorescent dim lighting in the bathrooms at my new job I like the haggard look, too. LOL. Seriously, I keep wondering how it is I have yet not made a small child cry.

I like the dinged up look on some of my mods, like the Eleaf invoke I have which is beaten and confused, but I think it is likely I will have to take my time with the legend, man, that sucker is so ergonomic it's really hard to drop. Etc.

Lots of mods don't do TC well until they are updated. The legend is one of them. After the update my battery life is heaps better and I don't regret doing it. There are many, many mods that get great updates released so I don't see the legend as a negative for that reason anyway.
But the USB port is so deep I can't even get a connection. The Aegis 100W I got a connection, but I had to hold the plug there the whole time. This seems like an obvious design fault to me. Geek Vape just makes them too deep.

I will say, no mod is for everyone, the TC sometimes requires tweaking in the Legend. With that said, it's not a DNA mod, I don't expect it to be perfection itself in TC. I wouldn't expect that in any mod.
Why not? I bought 2 Dovpo Topside squonkers and if you want TC, you have to update the firmware for it. No problem, installs perfectly. And TC is fabulous on the Topside. If none of the reviews doesn't scope TC, I guess I'll get one up. And no DNA board in the Topside. I liked the first 2 so much, I ordered 2 more. And they are very tough too.

What the legend does is what it says it does TOTAL durability in a really fantastic package.
Odd, I have heard of doors breaking off, USB covers snapping off, etc. I even heard Sony VTC5 cells can't make connection.

No mod is for everyone @BillW50. If it's not for you, it isn't. It is a great mod for a lot of folks, myself included. But, I don't expect ALL of my mods to be perfect in every area, I think all of them have flaws and high points. But, I get it, it's not for you, and that's totally okay with me. I'm sorry you don't like it but no need to argue it for posts and posts. Really.
It could be if I could use them. Currently my two are being used as a door stop.

I say this respectfully Bill, but everytime I read one of your posts in the Legend forums I am reading the words and hearing Abe Simpson's voice.

Why? I loved Geek Vape's GBOX 200w. There was only one firmware, v1.0 and it was perfect. USB port worked and everything. I still use my 2 today. Then they came out with the SS Flask. Wonderful device! Then they came out with a plastic version and that was horrible.

Then they came out with the Aegis 100W. v1.0 firmware kind of worked, but then 4 more firmware versions TC got worse and worse. And then the Legend which I don't even want to get into right now.

So what the hell happened to Geek Vape? They used to make excellent products. Now they seem to be making disposable products instead. I want the old Geek Vape back! :(

I own 2 Geekvape rta's, and 2 Legends. Aside from a minor battery indicator issue with my newest Legend after upgrading the firmware, which Geekvape support was quick to resolve, I've had no issues. Actually, after receiving my newest Legend which I ordered directly from Geekvape, I decided to do a torture test by putting all of my other devices aside for a rest and see how the Legend holds up to being a daily driver with nonstop use. I've been hard on it and probably have close to 15k puffs and no issues at all.

Oh so you have no idea what Geek Vape was like just last year VapourFlavour. That is a shame. They must have fired someone, or somebody left or something and they really lost their mojo. Last year they wouldn't have made all of these mistakes. :(
I think you need to buy Smok products from now on, you'll love them.

I want a LV mod bad.

But I am still enjoying my legend.

I'm not saying your concerns are invalid. They are valid (to you) and that is what matters. I don't have any of those problems nor do most folks on the thread.

Look it's like that for me with Joytech, I hate their stuff, other people love it. I don't post a TON about how they suck (although ironically I did just mention them on the vaping pet peeves thread, LOL.

My point is more, we get it, you are not enjoying your legends and I am glad you are finding other stuff to like, but repeatedly posting your concerns doesn't really do much. We have all read them, and I can even VALIDATE them because as I said, no mod is for everyone.

Did you try to warranty?

The update must be done with the USB cord provided by Geek Vape. That was the only one I had that fit. Any others will leave you frustrated with your mods not upgraded wanting nothing from the them but used as doorstops.

Even Dovpo had USB issues. You may not have had the issues, but there were users who bought the device with a USB cord that was not a data cord. Dovpo was quick to fix this by replacing the old (yellow?) usb cord with a new blue one.

Then they came out with the Aegis 100W. v1.0 firmware kind of worked, but then 4 more firmware versions TC got worse and worse
If you prefer the previous versions, you may be able to revert back to them by "updating" back to v1.

Yes so I was told. Still no help. It looks exactly like the GBOX USB cable btw.

Oh could be, I never heard that one. I generally use my standard known good USB cables first and that's what I had used. I got two more Dovpo and I know those are the blue USB cables.

Yes, I did that with my 3 and I had taken them through all 4 newer firmware versions and decided v1.0 was the best for TC. Although all firmware versions except the last one has that bug if you keep holding down the fire button (or it is stuck) it will keep doing the repeated firing thing.

ADDED NOTE: Okay we can't talk about the problems that we are having with our Geek Vape Legend here anymore. Since stols001 and others doesn't like it. They only want to hear high praises and nothing else. So if you have a problem with your Legend, go elsewhere because nobody here cares. :(

I dont think its that, @BillW50 . I think its the fact you bash it for no other reason than you cant figure out how to update your device(s) then shelve it. (Why'd you buy two?) Or that you can't set it to the same settings as a DNA device in temp control and have it behave exactly the same way. When offered help, you make it very difficult to converse with you due to the fact you place blame on others rather than trying a new way of doing your way. Its almost like you are expecting different results from doing the same thing over and over. This is not my thread but if it were, I would appreciate people going there with problems that they're having with their device, others helping figure it out, a simple thanks and everyone's happy. I would also like hearing about the wonderful experiences people are having. It seems like the majority are having good experiences, so that is what we are hearing about mostly. I hope you can get it figured out and join in on the positive experience most are having or drop it and move on. Fingers crossed for ya, buddy.
