Thanks for reminding me to get back to this one. Running your setup now and loving it. Dual core claptions ohm at .38 50w 7wrap she is a rocking!!!! Glad my second for backup came in today.
Nice, I'm just using cotton bacon and I let the tails hang a little below that ring.

how/what are you wicking with? thanks
coils are 2.5mm id - 6 wraps compressed - wicked with rayon(insert comma here - the comma in my keyboard no work lol) nothing to crazy - rayon not to tight just so it squeeks thru the coils -tails extending not past the retaining ring - comes out to .45ish ohms - I like running it @ 32.5 watts up to 36.5 watts with my style of vaping...
{UD premade clapton wire (for when I'm lazy) 26 inner 32 outer kanthal got it for cheap form FT} --- wait darn - gotta top off the tank again - lol

Anyone drilled the juice wells or the juice holes to line them up? Mine don't line up but as long as I do some primer pull it wicks alright when chain vaping so im wondring if its worth drilling the holes.
I wanna hear if it helps wicking and if u had any leakage after drilling.

Mine has really smooth AFC which is handy for primer pull but JFC is a bit tough to turn. Black one btw.

My jfc spins very easily. I'm having a hard time keeping them lined up also... Not really too sure on how this thing works too well yet

When filling do you guys close the AFC and the juice flow?

Lately I've just been closing the jc. I've been able to fill fast enough to leave the afc open. But, I have a 50/50 juice in it so I can fill in about 5s.

I forgot to close the jc one time, and got lucky, and it didn't leak.

oops- clumsy me... i just dropped the tank:(... happy there is a spare tank... anybody know where i can get another spare glass tank... just so i have another back up....
I accidentally knocked my tank off of a table the first day I had it. Shattered the glass. So I'm curious about this as well.

New RTA's in town, the mutank velocity deck and the VCMT!!! As y'all know, the Griffin is my favorite RTA thus far. But as the vape game always progresses, I'm still left wondering how the new challangers compare. Anyone own the Griffin and ethier the VCMT or Mutank velocity??? If so how do they compare, as far as flavor and descent amount of clouds is concerned? Always been curious about the latest and greatest, and look to all your "unbiased" opinions before I buy products.

Got my black Geekvape Griffin from VaporDNA yesterday - was concerned about putting a larger build in it after reading about wicking issues but went with dual 5 wrap, 2.5mm id, twisted 28g titanium at 0.12ohms and ran the cotton all the way down the channels (OMG so much cotton!) and it's vaping like a dream on my RX200! Upgraded from the Billow v2, and this thing is better all around (although I'd love a black steel tank section for it). Will be doing a full review once I've had the chance to put it through its paces, but first impression is very positive!

Gonna have to try wicking all the way down the channels. You are not the first to say it worked great like that. You are still using the wicking ring yes? Can we see pics of your wicking? Thanks!!

Other than the Griffin that is still on the slow boat from china to me the Mutak is the best RTA money buys.
