Ahhhh Mr. Franck! How are ya? I haven't been atty-chasen for a bit. Happy with 3 or 4 relatively "new" purchases and not in any hurry to get too much more...or to do it slower. I am enjoying the Zeus Dual, although I do have better attys for flavor, it is much better than the original Zues to me.

Let me know what your thoughts are on the Z-Dual.
Will do bud, good hearing from you again...:thumb:

So heard back from Wendy vapes and she says it won't fit,but I'll try anyways when my Zeus arrives in a day or so...

They should have included the bubble tank in the new Zeus Dual...just add a $1 to the price and we all would have paid it.

Franck, when did you move to CA??? Am I crazy thinking you were living in France? Maybe I'm overdosing on my meds or something.

I put 3.5mm coils (dual) into this baby so that was a lot of cotton. I thinned the tails out, but it was still pretty tight into the juice channels. Trimmed to barely touching the bottom of juice well. using 70pg/30vg juice and it wicks very well. This new version wicks much better than the original in my opinion. Using a dual coil helps on the flavor as well. I do not consider either of the Zeus attys to be top flavor producers, but this new one is an improvement in my opinion.Easy to coil, don't worry about straightening them until you have it all tightened down. Cut the legs pretty short, then after tightening just put a tool in the coil and pull up and out. I wick pretty tight in the coil as well. So far so good.

Good luck, let me know.

Oh ok,I was actually going to try Mike vapes version which is to just lay the wicks on top of wick Chanel's and not into them at all or very little anyways, will see when it gets here, thanks bud...

Hey, why not do it Mike's way. I am not sure how that juice level would be up to his wick bottom, but if it works, it works. I have the wick tucked in and just touching or almost touching the bottom. Wicks beautifully.

No kidding, and no dry hits hey ? Cool deal I'll try you're way next time, hard to believe you have 3.5 mm coils in that bad boy,I have a pair of 3 mm and I find they take up most of the deck and it's hard to move them outwards cause that side metal piece gets in the way,and I end up with too much cotton it seems, but it works pretty good,I redid the wick so that they are inside the Chanel a bit, like 1 mm maybe,I think next time I'll put in 2.5 mm coils as he suggest and see how that works out,Great chatting with you again bud :thumb:

I would clean it really good. I've washed mine twice and still getting a funky machine oil taste. I'm going to do as someone suggested and do an alcohol soak.
I have this squonk RDA and I could not get the oil smell off. I tried 2 all day soaks in Dawn, an over-nite soak in Vodka and a soak in rubbing alcohol and none of them would work. I finally just took all the soft parts off and torched the oil smell off... That worked.

Nope, no dry hits. The coil setup comes out to 0.21 and hitting it at 56 watts. Working like a charm. I'll take some pics when I rewick next time. All I know is it works for me. Like a charm. Hope you find the right setup on yours as well. I do like the vape on this one.

It can be really frustrating. The alcohol soak finally did it for me.

Hi Doug, heck ya I'll look at some pics,I went back to 3 mm coils and it's working ok,it floods a little when filling tho which is a bummer,I'll keep messing with it and hopefully I can get it to stop doing it...

I will rewick tomorrow and take a shot or two of how I'm wicking it. At first when I was stuffing the tails in I thought I had too much cotton, but nope, it kept up with the wicking just fine. So now, I'm not afraid to put a pretty tight wick in there. I have had no leaking and no dry hits.

I have the same flooding on re-fill issue with the Zeus, OBS Mini, and OBS Nano. The common denominator being all are top airflow tanks. I find that not trying to "top them off", leaving some air at the top of the tank helps prevent it.

Ya I would agree with you 100% cause I noticed the same thing too,I just fill the Zeus up a little bit less and it minimizes the flooding a little ...

Here you go Franck! This was a new set of coils that are 3mm ID. Tiger wire. Came out to 0.17 ohm. Wicking beautifully at 58 watts. Tails are not quite touching the juice deck. And NO leaking when filling!
