Good to hear you have a vape. Maybe a couple of cheap backups for Christmas is a good plan. Clearance sales are a good starting point.

Tried new wicking method tonight.

Stuff the coil with cotton, then cut off top half of the tails. No racking or brushing the wick needed.

The juice flow is awesome. If you cut off too much, you will get flooding after filling the tank, so make sure you close it right away after filling it.

Sigelei Fuchai 213 for $38 looks like a good buy and I like the brand.
213 supposed to be okay if you don't vape much over 140 I think. Wouldn't be my first choice. Could be remembering the wrong Sig 213, they had a couple come out. For the same price you can get a Smoant Charon or Battlestar. They are pretty solid for tc. Try vapecrawler.com for price checking.

I don’t vape in TC, the reason I bought a dna250 mod, is because it doesn’t look or feel like it was made by Fisher Price. That’s why I bought Lost Vape Paranormal 166.

With single coil I vape around 25-30 watts. Dual coil I’ll vape around 30-35watts.
But once in a while, I like to crank up my RDA to 100 watts, take few hits and turn it down to 40watts.

Ive tried TC with Yihi SX350 mini ML and I sold it after a week. Great chip but a short life with a single battery.

I rarely use tc either, yet love my Therion's and want another. Since you're not interested in tc, the Hugo 133 is a great budget mod. Offers no updates but is a workhorse. Cheap on FT. Charon Adjustable is a good mod as well, I have it and Charon tc as well. Both perform well and fire quick. You can get the older Cuboids cheap too. Make for a handy closet backups.

There is a new DNA 250 “C” coming this winter according to Evolv Facebook page. It will have a color screen.

My Sigelei 100+ with yihi330 chip was a work horse for nearly 3 years. But I sold it to a neighbor who was in need for an upgrade, so I gave him a good deal. I kind of regret selling but, he .. couldn’t afford anything better.

I have my friends box mod to vape till I get my DNA mod fixed/exchanged. It’s single battery mod, it’s not ideal but, I get my nic fix.
As long as I get my nic fix, I won’t go ak47 postal....lol

The airflow ring (with the vertical notches) should move freely with stops for full open and full close... resistance (And sealing) for the airflow ring is provided by a single silicon o-ring. If you take the top fill off and open the airflow ring all the way, you should be able to lift directly upwards and remove the airflow ring. If it's too tight and won't move, put a bead of e-liquid around it so that it moves freely before screwing the top cap/fill cap on.

Here's a video of how it should work: (I'm not a hand/finger model, please excuse me):

That is so nice of you to do a vid!

My son wants to start rebuilding. What is the easiest rta to rebuild with good quality? He wants to sub ohm.

When I asked that question a couple months back, I was suggested the Ammit 25, and the Copper Vape Hussar.

Since then have picked up the Ammit 25, a Coil Master kit with the 521 mini Tab.

Made my first coil and have been happily using it right away.

PS I also have a Zeus on the way also

Hope this helped

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

Yeah dude, I went full on MC Squared *10 speed of light, trying to figure out why my shoe size equals to medium squared lunch size meal.
Happy you got a loaner to use & you can feel good about selling your Sigelei to your neighbor :thumb: a real nice deed indeed

In my personal opinion, your son should start with RDA.
RTA are finicky in nature and I would not recommend any of them as a first anything to learn how to rebuild.

RDAs are far more forgiving than RTAs for beginners.

I disagree.

RTAs are finicky to wick. Each RTA has a 1,000 page instrumental language as
to how it should be coiled and wicked, none of them are for beginners.

Unless you are high speed and self motivated, then I will not recommend anything other then a simple RDA. You can’t screw up majority of RDA builds.
RTAs is like trying to find a G spot or pick the next president...not for beginners.

And I don’t want my mother teaching me about a G spot.:rolleyes::D

Wish I had known that before I decided to make the Griffin 25+ my first rebuildable.............

I disagree that all rta's are a pita. Had the Nano dialed in fairly quickly and Zeus wasn't hard either. RDA is not for everyone if they don't squonk. Wicking and coil placement is key to both rda and rta. That just has to be learned regardless of what you're using.
