Could it be that you are missing some o Rings? Perhaps watch a detailed vid & see where they should be. Mine hasn’t arrived yet but seems it could be the orings from the sounds of it.

I’m sure peeps that have the Zeus will pipe in.
Yup first thign that occured to me, and all appear to be there and in place, thats why i moved on the rewicking it x times

I have a very low threshold for bs and long ago instituted an "it either works out of the box as advertised or it gets sent back, im not your r&d dept or your quality control guinea pig" policy.

I do not subscribe to the buy it and then have to fiddle and replace parts and do their frickign job for them methodology. If more people did the same and sent stuff back, vape gear manufacturers do actual quality control in china and not just spin up cnc machines and throw stuff out the door...

At this stage, unless a miracle happens its going back hatepost for a refund

Where does it leak from??
Also check the 510 pin, mine was loose when I got it.

Literally any attempt at taking a toot results in a lot of juice in the mouth situation.... so it has to be the ridiculous top cap seal methinks

510 is fine

Seems to be a bad topcap oring...

Cant be bothered, just filled out an RMA form

Same comment as whenever i get a wonky piece of vape gear: manufacturers, try quality control....

Fricking tired of this crap 40% of gear ive bought over the last 2 years has had some issue. Some here may take that as acceptable and liek to fiddle, not this little black duck. Especially with the added bonus of the expensive postage to get stuff to Australia int he first place, and then to have to send it back...you might understand why it gives me the absolute ....s

It works out of the box, or you get it hateposted back...simples

Lift your fricking game manufacturers

Meanwhile my trusty 2 year old Lemo 2 chugs along having never had an issue in its life...all modern ( and mostly cloud chucking) crap seems just that, but what choice do you have because the cloudz bro crowd have just about ruined vaping for normal people.

Just switched to rayon after 4 years with KGD. Holy flavor! Details in this thread/post: Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Not to mention the nic hit, especially if like me you vape 12mg (unflavoured), i had to adjust my usage after the first night of having my head blown off with rayon :) I switched over about 6 months back, love it but when im lazy and cant be bothered with the breakin, i still reach for the cotton bacon

I am so bad at links. @jfcooley please give KGB7 a link to the Shinyitis Support thread.
Sorry missed this.
Life is needing more attention at the moment. Nothing major, I just suck at multitasking.

I hate mine. Now I have overtighten the bottompart 2 times and its nearly impossible to remove everytime... haha
I have that problem with most of my tanks, so I just bought one of these and it sure helps! I don't overtighten- but I have a weak grip. Multifunction Tweezers!
I have trouble with getting brand new tanks apart- the Asvape Cobra- yikes.
Also sticking a small allen wrench through the bottom air slots of many tanks and wearing a rubber glove help too!
The Zeus doen't have the bottom air slots so the Tweezers would be a big help for you.

Wow- you must really overtighten your tank- Yea if they get torqued down too much it can be horrible trying to get open again, I put a little ejuice on the orings to help with that too, also putting a wrench to it, making sure the tank bottom is protected in a towel or rubber band. That tweezer has been so helpful to me- much easier to get my stubborn tanks apart.
I also try to make sure I don't overtighten anymore. Not fun!

I haven’t spent a penny over the past 2 years on Vaping hardware.
Now I might go broke before Xmas...lol. So much new stuff out there and I want to try it all.

I just keep telling my self that I deserve it.
Wow you show amazing self restraint. Yes, you deserve all the new shinies for 2 years of control lol!

So, I think it shows some promise ... after recovering from some chain-vapers-tongue after some (seemingly) very successful rayon testing last night, I took my first pull this morning and throughout the entire day could taste kind of a "medicine-ey" flavor. In addition, there is a lot of additional work to wick it (brushing/trimming/etc.) ... flipped back to KGD for the time being (literally takes me 5 minutes, typically less to wick with KGD) ... when I get some more time I may try boiling/pre-cleaning the rayon first and give it another go.

I did finally get some Temco 24Ga SS316L in today, so switched to that as well... noticeably warmer with some stronger flavor associated with that. I think I'll stick with this setup for awhile until I get some more experimentation time.

All in the Zeus, of course. :)
