Received my Zeus yesterday, an attempt to find a replacement for the OBS Engine Nano.

The flavor it produces is a winner, as is the wicking area. I'll have to get use to cutting my coil legs before mounting.

Not a fan of the top, having to remove it fully to fill the tank, or the way it sucks down eliquid although I know that is why it's so flavorful.

The overall size is nice, but the 4ml capacity doesn't cut it for the amount of eliquid it uses. Any clues on what, if any, bulb glass would fit this? Not being able to line up the logo isn't a deal breaker, but it bugs me. LOL

So, my Zeus RTA will stay at home after today, where I can fill it as often as I need to, unless a larger glass can go on it.

The Dual version is too big for my devices, so off to try the TFV8-X.

The only thing I am aware of at this time is a bubble tank made of acrylic. If you go back a few pages here you will find the link for it.Hopefully someone will eventually release a glass version.
As far as the logo is concerned if it is not lining up.Remove the build deck and spin it 180 degrees so that your airflow towers end up in the opposite holes. This should allow the logo to become centered unless there are manufacturing anomalies. I put a small scratch on one tower and its corresponding hole so I know it will be centered. Obviously I am .... retentive.:)

Well I have received my Zeus Dual Coil tank and being that I am not a dual coil vapour I am running it in single coil mode.

I have put my usual build in which is SS316l 28g 4 strands twisted. 3mm 8 wraps wicked with Muji cotton. Coming in at 0.4ohms.

So how does it vape, incredibly well. Personally I would say it is better than the original single coil tank. The flavour with my DIY pear juice is spot on. The draw is nice and smooth and of course top airflow so no leaking at all.

There is more air flow on the dual coil tank than the single so I have had to close it to about half way where as with the single coil I had it about 3/4 open. I have had to increase the watts from 38 to 40 watts (don't do temp control)

Overall I am very impressed and will be stocking up on these. Just waiting for 3fvape to get the bubble glass in and I will be ordering these as well to get 5.5ml instead of the standard 4ml.

Only time will tell regarding the rubber seal in the top cap. I had 3 of the single coil versions where the rubber seal in the top cap was getting chewed up with the constant taking on and off to fill to the point that the top cap would not go back on. This happened on all 3 of my single coil Zeus tanks.

Hopefully these are better but unlike the single coil they have included a spare rubber seal for the top cap in the spares bag.

Would be nice if the spare glass in the pack was the bubble glass like others do but for a couple of bucks worth buying anyway.

I am sure others that are dual coil vapours will comment on running it in dual coil mode so I cannot comment on how it performs with 2 coils.

A good upgrade from Geekvape in my opinion.

With any luck, I'll have my Zeus dual coil waiting in the mailbox when I get home tonight. I'm looking forward to trying it. I haven't had any issues with the top caps on my regular zeus tanks but I don't fill that often. I have three in daily rotation right now and one for back up. After reading about your troubles with the top seals, I have been considering ordering some back up top caps for the zeus tanks I have.

I just inspected my top seal and it is still like brand new. I can't figure out how it would get chewed up.
Maybe Lee can post a photo of his so we can see where the damage is.

I'll take a couple of pics tonight and upload.

    Cheers

Thank you for the heads up Vinny. That is the other 810 it comes with, not the sleeve one you sent me and comes already on the tank. Funny as i was just looking at drip tips. I am after an ultem one about the same size as the 510 one that comes with the Zeus. I want it for my SJMY Doggystyle.

Dubminer, are you talking about one of the tips that comes with the zeus? I'm not using either one on any of my zeus tanks. You can have mine if you want.
@hittman Yes i am loving all three drip tips it comes with. I like the 510 one to use on my Doggystyles as well. If you want to give them a good home i would be very grateful. Maybe i could offer you something in exchange? What drip tips do you like?

Hmmm.Thats weird. How long have you had them?

Only a couple of weeks I think I just had a bad batch as I bought the three at the same time.

Not sure if it is a fault in the actual silicone or on the tanks when putting the top cap back on.

Any way got my duals now and they are spot on so far

Send me your address and I'll get them out to you. You don't have to send me anything but if you've got some tapered tips like what came on the merlins then I'd take them. The 810 tips I use on the zeus tanks are similar to the merlin tips.

I used the fastech link you gave me and ordered a 5 pack for $8. Hope to see them in a few month, thanks again.

As far as chewing up the top fill gasket, I immediately looked in the box as I assumed there was a spare, like everyone else supplies, but NO, just O-rings, that’s lame. I’ll keep an eye on it.

I received the Zeus dual coil last night. I wanted to see how it worked with a single coil so I put in a 3.5mm 316ss coil that came in around .48. I was getting an off taste so let it sit overnight. I was still getting an off taste this morning. I'm running it on a vaporesso revenger in temperature curve mode so was pretty sure I wasn't burning cotton or anything. I popped it open when I got to work this morning and saw that part of the cotton was dry. I evidently stuffed too much cotton in it. I ended up putting in a 3mm coil like I always use in the regular zeus and less cotton and it seems much better. I forgot to mention that I'm using 26/32 Clapton 316ss wire. It seems like this one has more aiflow than the original and so far the flavor seems pretty intense even though I only put in one coil. I do like how there is no cage to block the logo and the single coil sits straight with the channels so you don't have to twist the coil.
