Sooooo...
Should it be easy to separate?
Should it ever even BE separated?

While we are at it:

I've got a WAEII (DNA30) on the hook, and I'd like some info.

It's a dedicated 18650 mod yes?
I can't help but want an 18490 or even 18350 tube for it...

Can I hybrid my GEMv1 onto this model?

To answer the first part: it's threaded, it's easy to separate, when you want to clean it, but you don't necessarily have to separate those two parts every time.

I have six of them - still have no idea :)
No worries, even Q did not know it ;)R
I still don't know it brother. I've tried every possible way none of my six's bulge. They're hardcore fit :D

Hey Q...
What say you about the WAEII?
Any experience with it?
Looking to see if there is a short tube for using 18350/490 batteries?
My favorite mod Sir! Have put in months of -flying-vaping in it. And since grabbing its 18500 tube - it's the only electronic mod which goes out with me. I'm yet to see another regulated mod so elegant as the WAE-II.

Where is the 500 tube available?
I may have an 18350 tube custom made, cuz I like my stealth sized vape gear, and I don't mind carrying extra batteries.

Me too. And if you ever get a 350 tube section made - count me in for one as well. The 500 tubes were available with MB and their resellers. Dunno the latest position.

Will do!

I've got a friend with a machine shop, so I may very well be able to have a tube turned out!

You're a lot smarter with this kind of stuff...do you think you could figure out how long the tube should be, including threaded ends?

Also, if I could just design a telescoping tube (like the Atmistique Twins), would that be cool?

If you have the WAE-II just take 30mm off from it's mid tubing and you have it.

With a 21mm sleeve it might be a tough call to get two opposing threads into it.

Sorry, not too good at math.

You're quite right. The Provari has the room to spare in its diameter size, for something like The Twins.

You musta got that one in the classies. It wasn't even in the classifieds title. I will definitely start looking now especially if it says vape gear and mods.
Congrats.

Please send a mail at office@markbugs.ro and we will fix that!
Sorry about this, first time I saw this issue.
I don't get it, what's to fix, just screw it back into the deck. My first SS Gem did that from day one. After cleaning, I just use rubber gloves to get a real secure grip and tightened the 2 pieces as much I can by hand. Just have to be careful that it doesn't unthread when removing the top cap to refill. I have one other OG SS Gem that occasionally does this also, but have not experienced the same with the Ti or Gem II.

As far as I know, WAEII30 didn't have 18500 tube option. WAEII40 comes with extra 18500 tube but not sure if it will fit WAEII30. (description of WAEII40 talks about a slight modification to the thread)

As for WAEII30, yes it is 18650 mod and it will support both GEM I and GEM II. (and yes they look perfect together :thumb:)

-edit-
oops. missed a whole page after this question. never mind

on a separate note. juice flow on GEM II is huge! i was getting leaks through air hole in my first few builds. anybody else having similar issue?

i have been slowly increasing the cotton amount on each build and got most of leaking stopped. i ended up using almost twice as much of cotton as i would normally use and had to "stuff" the cotton in the side chamber. flavor on this is awesome due to soaking the coil is getting from the big juice flow. just need to control it a bit. hopefully i got it under control now. love to hear anybody with possible work around.

btw, whenever i am refilling the tank, i wish GEM had some type of juice flow control. could be a simple juice flow on/off mechanism. this will eliminate the need to purge the initial overflow during the refill.

Yes I have the same problem. Juice coming from air hole. I will increase wick next change.
I definitely love my GEM II no matter what. I just need to learn more about wicking. I have just changed from organic cotton to Cotton Bacon.
