The last survivor of the Titanic died today at the age of 97. Considering the Titanic sank in 1912, that's pretty amazing.

Wow wv........I thought there were none left........That story still facinates me to this day!!...as Sun said..That person would have had to have been an infant when the ship went down!! Thanks for posting!

We just had the Titanic exhibit leave the Milwaukee area this last weekend...I wish I had found the time to see it. Some of the other ladies I work with went, and they said it was a very interactive exhibit...they even issued the customers Titanic passenger ID's for the tour.....and when they left, they could check the logs to see if they had survived or not.

She was a British lady who was an infant when the Titanic sank. Her brother and Mother survived but her father was lost.
wv......I havn't seen the story yet but based on her being British....she was probably a first or second class passenger....Most of the Fathers ended up staying on board so thier wives and children could board the lifeboats...Such a sad and tragic story!!...It truly was a night to remember!!

My friends.....I am afraid I will be away for a day or two from our beloved Emerald City.My sister(Princess Ozma)will be having surgury Thursday morning..and I shall be at her side with her family and the Mother of The Wiz himself! I would ask you all to send a prayer or two her way if you wouldn't mind. In my absence I have appointed BiteMe52(Protecter of Oz)and Vicks(Wicked Witch)to take charge of The City from me while I am away! I am sure those two will keep all of you safe and sound until my return!...I look forward to getting back here soon..and will keep everyone posted on how my sister makes out!The Wiz!
