The air hole is in the top piece that screws onto the top cap. Most of us prefer one hole, about 1mm diameter, 6mm from the bottom.

oh ok, now do u need to tilt the whole pv to get juice up through the mesh?

Only if you are hot boxing it, cappilary action keeps the wick wet. But when you are chain vaping sometime you need to tilt to help wet the wick. You kinda get a feel for it once you start using them.
