SS Line , first setup , so far so good. 2.6ml capacity.
Kanthal 0.18 , mesh #400 fine , 4-3 wraps , PG/VG-50/50-6mg.
1.8 Ohm and 3.8V. Full SS no plexi.

Higher capacity?
V1 didn't have the capacity of ~2ml?
Silly me, didn't see that this one has no windows...it's all about the excitment to have it in my hands...

omg a full stainless, no plexi, i want one, i have serious cracking issues with anything that resembles a clear tank....
... replace with a pyrex tube and your cracking issues are foretime ...
Got a how to and where to get the pyres? I would actually like to be able to do this in the future. I am not sure how hard it is to pull the top off of the V1?

... the pyrex tube replacement (in Europe: JENA glass tube) ... in many university towns there are chemistry shops who cut tubes, blow glass etc. for the campus ...
.. i already changed the tubes several times on different european atomizers & tanks ... most of them were just stuck in (you'll need sometimes a oil to get them out) the rest was fixed with glue (a sharp cutter ... really heated up in a gas flame did the rest to cut it into pieces ) ...

On the line V2 ... i do not know ... cause i'ven't got mine yet ... but I will do this as soon it comes along ... maybe i should do a little replacement guide ...
... for the cap in Line V1 just ask Van ... he is man who knows ... i think del or shpaolin will make a contact ...

yes pls. this would be very helpful. pyrex tube on this torpedo ce2 is great. don't want to go back to plexi on the line.
... yes, you know what i'm talking about ... as far as i know only BigDaddyVapor and Vapor-Age on his tornado tank offer pyrex as an option ... i really love pyrex tubes for there cleaning issues ... and the LINE V2 shouldn't go without it ...
... on plexi tubes generally there are only cracking issues when you use liquids with citric acid or other fruit acids ... on other liquids i've never seen any of this damage ... the plexi or pyrex question is more a personal taste ... i think stainless steel and pyrex belongs together ... maybe more "natural" stuff ... but this is a religious question ...
... anyway, so far i never seen a report how many years plexi holds his clearness on longterm conditions with PG/VG liquids ... pyrex glass is common in chemistry equipment and will last many many years even under acid conditions ...

right. i don't think it's a fault to use plexi or acrylic. the stuff is durable as hell. it's just that on balance, to me, the non-reactive nature of pyrex/bomex is worth a little extra care in handling. (i say that as i drop my torpedo on the floor)
... the point is always, if you use pyrex instead of plexi for a product it is better to deliver with plexi and make pyrex as an option ... because most of demand goes over the price and not everyone is willing to pay up to ten times more ... even it's the better material (like plexi 2 -4$ and pyrex 16-20$ customer sales price) ...
... also you never know how long people are using the item ... one year maybe than sell it or just throw it away ... and that's one of the main reason why pyrex isn't the number one in manufacturing, second you must take care - pyrex tubes take a lot of hits until you really smash them down on the right corner ... then uups and for third the cutting is more time-consuming than on a plexi tube ...
... but i think on the LINE V2 - behind the three SS Windows - the pyrex is like in a cage and should be well protected ...
Ok , second setup , 5 wraps of 0.18 kanthal , 2.2 Ohm at 4.0V, mesh #400 fine , PG/VG-50/50 - 6mg.
If you used Line before , this is a diferent experience. At 5 wraps i cant go higher than 4.0V , and there is no need for that.
It burns your juice much faster. With 4 wraps at 1,8 Ohm i can not go higher than 3.7V , and that is to much.
This is strange , very strange. This one will be made in 50 pieces.
You can not buy it wright now , they are all reserved.
So we will wait with production until you hear from people who got it before you. I will try with 6 and 7 wraps later.

shpaolin, What size wire are you using, and have you tried different AWG sizes ?
