Genuine KFL+ Whistling

I loved my clone so I bought a genuine KFL+ (second batch). I have 2 problems. It's whistling and it tastes like burnt rubber. Same exact setup as my clone (coil, wick ohms, etc). Anyone else experience this? I'm disappointed because my clone is better at this point.

Lol.. yeah don't worry bro I bought 4 KFL+ v1 and v2. Two of them whistled and two of them were okay..

So the build quality is going down?! I feel like a fool. I'll stick with the clones I guess. I just can't understand why my $35 eBay clone is better. Sad...

Might be a defect but i have 3 kfl+ and with each one whistle depends on coil placement (chiefly height). If they're high enough they won't whistle. If they're too low they might also leak.

I do have come accross one flavors which tastes like rubber in a kayfun (tfa dk tobacco). In fact i was pretty sure i had burned the rubber under the post while dry burning. But other juices taste good.
