Did you have any issues removing the 510pin? I've broken a couple of clones with the smallest amount of torque trying to remove them, so I wanted to wait for someone like you to come along. How close is the airhole to the threads now?

Yeah, removing the 510 pin/tube was a pita.
It unscrewed (tightly) enough to take the positive block off, but then it didn't want to thread out of the base.
I used a tapered punch in a vice, then sat the hole end (top) of the tube on top of the punch to put pressure on it while I unscrewed it.
I found that the side holes in the tube had rough edges causing them to bite into the delrin/plastic - which is probably why it was so hard to unscrew.
A bit of the delrin came out and I could see it in the holes (which btw may cause airflow blockage when it's installed at the factory).
After I drilled those side holes out I just used a dremel with a drum sander bit to smooth the hole edges.
I have to admit, I was a little scared drilling the center tube. But it was already very close to 1/16". I had mine held straight in a vice and use a drill press. I chucked a rod into the drill press that fit inside the airtube to center it all. Not to mention the hole was already slightly off center from the factory. Maybe I just got lucky. I haven't drilled one of these tubes before.

I didn't take any pics. But I suppose I can tear it down tomorrow and snap some shots to show you how close 1/16" hole is to the threads.

Just found out what clone I got the Kayfun Lite Plus by Tobeco. I picked up the clear section from original Kayfun for it which fit perfectly. Mine didn't have any problems at all other than it uses a 1.5 mm allen head which I don't have a problem with as I have a small screw driver type allen wrench that fits.

Received my EHPRO KFL+ and had it built yesterday (one month into vaping so I'm still new). The only issue I had was that the driptip O-ring was ridiculously small and would not sit snug on the rest of the piece so I just had to replace it with one of the O-rings that came with the package. Not a big deal but taking out an O-ring that was that small was quite troublesome.

Also I'm noticing some very minor leakage but I have no idea where it's coming from...

I got sick of having to put the O ring back on the one I have and left it off with no leak. Now if you are getting leaking make sure the seal is good on the 3 pieces in the middle including the clear/stainless section in the middle. The only leak I got I found that loose, tightened it and it stopped. Other than that no problems at all with it. Mines a clone I got from GotVapes about a week ago that I've now used all day since I got it with one rebuild of the coil using 1.6 ohm micro coil and cotton wick.

I found that it's leaking through the airhole on the side. Once I got to the halfway point of the clear tank, it started leaking profusely. I have no idea what to do right now.

The juice you are using might be a little too thin and or not using a thick enough wick, you could also possibly be taking too hard of a pull with each drag.Anyway,to stop the leaking out the airhole, turn the RTA upside down with the mouthpiece in a piece of paper towel.then blow out thru the airhole to get the excess liquid out of the chamber until you do not see any more liquid on the towel, turn it back upright and start vaping again.

does anybody know if the screws are true stainless steel or not on the EHPRO clone of the KFL+ ? because some people say they are not SS ( Or poor quality SS ) so they rust with moisture ...

No rust after a 24 hour soak in water and dishwashing soap.

In contrast, the Rocket (another Kayfun clone) had HUGELY visible plumes of rust coming from around the screws with the same soak. The whole mess went promptly into the trash. I think I have heard some of the Tobeco clones had the same problem.

The EHPRO is great for $35.00, but that is the most it is worth, IMO. The airflow adjustment screw protrudes past the base when it is opened for anything approaching reasonable airflow. It will not sit flush on a mod due to this. I don't know if it is just the one I received or it is a general design flaw. (Pretty much all of the clones I have tried miss out when it comes to one or two of the details. Not the Russian 91%, but I don't consider it a clone.)

I got a Black Edition from Fleabay Thursday, built it yesterday and dropped from 18mg to 12mg.

I just rewicked an hour ago and got sticky bun flavored hot steel hits. Youch!
The center post protrudes and my coil hit it when I rewicked it.
Fixed in less than a minute so it's hitting like a champ again.

Does the center post protrude on other versions?

I'm not liking my tobeco kfl with air control at all. I want to throw it away and use my igo-l or go back to an evod or mt3s even that's how sad it makes me. Anyone have an easy way to get the air/juice channels dug out deeper
I also am unhappy/unimpressed with my KFL+ ehpro in black with a pre drilled 2mm airhole. It doesn't seem to pull as much airflow as my stock ehpro 3.1 kayfun. On Kayfuns I always remove the airflow control screw for maximum airflow.

As far as drilling out the channels, it can be done but that is a very easy modification to botch and you end up with a kayfun that is essentially trash. You also have to be very careful and know what you're doing drilling the kayfun airholes, although this can be done quite successfully and make the device hit much much better. With this method you don't drill on the channels at all. And you wouldn't NEED to.

I have found in almost every device I've owned, RBA, RDA, some amount of proper drilling will increase the vape quality in every way. I've learned that airflow is essential and can turn an average device into a killer vape machine.
